From selling bhajias to to being a petrol attendant, this inspirational business leader had built a powerful giant, Reliance Industries across textiles, petrochemicals, communications, power, and Technology, and has been admired for transforming the business landscape in India, for taking some unconventional business decisions that fuelled growth and for democratizing a set of industries like Mobile Telephony etc. His vision for the growth of Reliance Industries, interestingly, had an enormous space for the growth of India (far more inclusive growth). His uncanny ability to spot a gap in the market, and to apply innovative/unconventional approaches, transformed, primarily, a textile and petrochemical company into a Global powerhouse straddling many business (new age like Energy etc) verticals. Reliance was the first Indian company to feature in list.
Remembering Shri Dhirubhai Ambani Ji on his birth anniversary today. One of the greatest minds of India who vitalized the values and value proposition in business administration and contribution to the Nation.
