The lunar glow crowns the night of the 7th of June with its celestial shimmer, it softly announces the sacred arrival of 'Eid ul-Adha.' Bakarid is woven with threads of timeless devotion, echoing the profound surrender of Prophet Ibrahim to divine. A sacrifice that transcends offerings, touching the depths of the soul by letting go of ego, pride and worldly attachments. On the solemn occasion of Tamalika Ponda Seth's death anniversary, the air was thick with emotions. We paid tribute to her enduring legacy in front of the Aryabhatta Central Library.

Shri Lakshman Chandra Seth (Chairman, ICARE), Shri Ashish Lahiri (General Secretary, ICARE), Shri Sayantan Seth (Vice Chairman, ICARE), Shri Sudipton Seth (Joint Secretary, ICARE), Mrs. Sparsita Ponda Seth (Assistant Secretary, ICARE)and
other family members and faculties were present as they collectively honoured and shared remembrance. She lived a life of remarkable impact from 6th August,1956 to 29th May, 2016. Her statue was respectfully adorned with floral tributes and candles. Let us take a moment to reflect on the profound impact she had on people's lives and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the values she embodied.

A new wave of opportunities rolled into the HIT Campus on the 17th of May, as the new horizons unfolded. With resumes in hand and hope in hearts, students from various BTech, Diploma and ITI colleges arrived for a walk-in interview, each step a stride toward a brighter future.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, Ms. Payel Deb Saha (HR, Himadri Chemicals Pvt.Ltd) and Ms. Sreerupa Kundu Ghosh (HR Manager, Himadri Chemicals Pvt.Ltd) ,who brought in their expertise guidance & clarity to the occasion. Insightful interaction and encouraging words by the dignitaries sparked confidence in the participants, as aspirants engaged in interviews designed not just to evaluate but to empower them.A momentous day closed with renewed energy and smiles. HIT once again stood tall not just as providing a venue but as a launchpad of countless journeys yet to begin.

"Spike, block and ace!"The battle for the intra-college volleyball supremacy begins! Day 1 of the volleyball tournament ignited the court with lightning-fast digs and heart-stopping blocks.

The IT and the CHE Dept. clashed in a thrilling showdown, leaving the crowd breathless and begging for more. The match was a thrilling display of volleyball prowess, with both teams giving it their all. IT, under the leadership of Abhishek Kumar, showcased their mind-blowing skills and teamwork while CHE. wasn't backing down. Ultimately, IT claimed victory, outmanoeuvring the opponent team by winning both sets.

"Where ideas meet innovation, creativity finds its voice."
As the clock struck 2:30 p.m. on May 20th, the CSE dept came alive with curiosity and creativity as the CSI Wall Magazine was unveiled in a vibrant showcase of innovation. Organized by the student members of the Computer Society of India (CSI), the event drew in eager minds ready to explore how technology is shaping the world around us.

The inauguration was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Subhankar Joardar (HOD, CSE), along with Prof. (Dr.) Rajib Dubey (Dean, SWC), Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Pal (Hostel Provost), and Prof. (Dr.) Subrata Barman (CSI Student Coordinator). This year’s theme focused on apps that have changed the world, including ChatGPT, WhatsApp, Swiggy, Gmail, Truecaller, Blinkit, and BigBasket. The wall magazine also highlighted emerging topics like AI and Generative AI, featuring tools such as DeepSeek, Copilot, and Replit.

Team HITian Inside congratulates the CSI student community and faculty mentors for presenting a thoughtful and creative wall magazine. It stands as a proud expression of curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for technology.

“Where ideas ignite and innovation takes flight, the future begins with a spark.”

As twilight kissed the campus on May 19, at 5:30 p.m., within the electric aura of the EE Dept. the wall magazine "EZ SPARK" was gracefully unveiled at the ground floor dept. corridor.

The event proceeded under the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) T. K. Jana (Principal,HIT), Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Dey (HOD, EE) and all other EE dept. Faculty members. "EZ SPARK" stood tall as a technical tapestry of ideas. With a theme centered around "Safe Innovations for a Greener Tomorrow", the wall magazine showcased groundbreaking strides in renewable energy, eco-friendly circuits and sustainable electrical design. Sophomore-year students under the guidance of their seniors worked hand in hand making the posters, infographics and models displayed on the board, reminding us that progress need not come at the cost of nature. From solar-powered microgrids to green AI-based safety systems, the display echoed a powerful message: the future is bright when it's built responsibly.

With immense pride and purpose, Team HITian Inside applauds every contributor, designer and thinker who helped light up this vision.

"Dig, Spike, repeat!" The Intra-College Volleyball Tournament continues as the court heats up for Day 1, Match 2.

The AEIE and CSE-CS departments went head-to-head in an electrifying volleyball showdown, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats with their incredible skills and determination. Under Soham Sabud's leadership, CSE-CS dazzled with their incredible synergy and talent, while AEIE fought back hard at every step. At last, CSE-CS outplayed AEIE, taking both sets and securing the win.

Purpose anchored them before the battle even began. From the moment team Panthers stepped onto the court in the B2PL 2025, there was something electric in the air. Every dribble echoed purpose, every pass found its mark, and every shot swished with intent. Opponents came strong, but the Panthers stood stronger—locking down defense, crashing the boards, and moving with flawless chemistry.

The final wasn’t just a game—it was a battle of will. And when the buzzer sounded, it wasn’t just the scoreboard telling the story. It was the sweat, the roars, the hands raised high in triumph. They fought, they conquered, and now—they reign supreme!

The court is calling for the 'Intra College Volleyball Tournament '25 ' as it is set to begin from 18th of May onwards on the campus. Be ready to witness sky-high blocks and joust passes.

The battle of glory is set to emerge under the flood lights. Brace yourselves with electrifying rallies, fierce teamwork and moments that could turn the tide in an instant. This is not just a match - it's a chance for bragging rights. Every set could be a story and every point, a legacy!

A storm of code and creativity swept through Room 8202 of ECE Dept on 17th May. GDG-on Campus HIT’s React Buzz workshop fueled a day packed with modern web development.

The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Chanchal Kumar De (HOD, ECE), Prof. Dibyendu Chowdhury (Faculty Coordinator, GDG HIT), and Prof. (Dr.) Himadri Sekhar Das, whose presence inspired and motivated the participants. The workshop ran from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting with JavaScript essentials and moving into the dynamic world of React-JS. Hands-on projects allowed participants to express creativity and learn component-based development. A final quiz tested their skills, and led into the much-awaited prize distribution ceremony. Prof. (Dr.) Chanchal Kumar De delivered an inspiring speech, applauding the enthusiasm and potential of each participant. Top scorers lit up the leaderboard and were awarded for their excellence:

• Faiz Ahmed – 1st Position

• Sayon Dey – 2nd Position

• A***n Raj – 3rd Position

The workshop wrapped up with a heartfelt note by Himadri Sir, marking the end of a day filled with learning, innovation, and inspiration.
