बहुत खुशी और गर्व की बात है कि कई वर्षों की कोशिशों के बाद आखिरकार भारत की सबसे ऊँची झील देवताल तक पहुँचने का सपना पूरा हुआ। देवताल चमोली जिले में माणा पास के पास, माणा गाँव से लगभग 50 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है और इसकी ऊँचाई करीब 18,000 फीट है।

माणा गाँव से देवताल तक का सफर बेहद रोमांचक और खूबसूरत रहा। रास्ते में गहरे नाले, कठिन चढ़ाई और ऊँचाई पर पहुँचते ही शुरू हुई बर्फबारी ने इस यात्रा को यादगार बना दिया।

यह यात्रा मेरे लिए इसलिए भी खास है क्योंकि मैं उत्तराखंड की नीती घाटी, माणा घाटी, मिलम घाटी, व्यास घाटी और नेलोंग घाटी सहित लगभग सभी प्रमुख सीमा क्षेत्रों तक अपनी बाइक से पहुँच चुका हूँ। इसके अलावा हिमाचल, लद्दाख, जम्मू-कश्मीर, नेपाल और नॉर्थ ईस्ट के कई भारत-तिब्बत सीमा क्षेत्रों तक पहुँचने का सपना भी पूरा किया है।

अब तक लगभग 15–20 सीमा क्षेत्रों तक बाइक से पहुँचने का अवसर मिला है। उत्तराखंड के सभी प्रमुख सीमा क्षेत्रों को अपनी बाइक से देख पाना मेरे लिए बेहद गर्व और खुशी की बात है। भारत के दूर-दराज के सीमावर्ती इलाकों तक पहुँचना मेरे जीवन की सबसे यादगार यात्राओं में से एक रहा है।

देवताल और माणा पास का यह अनुभव हमेशा दिल के करीब रहेगा। 🏔️
