Hundreds of families have gained strength & support to say their loved ones were killed by Pakistani terrorists. It's shocking, before 2019 terrorists' funeral processions were allowed while thousands of common Kashmiris killed by terrorists, remained forgotten & unacknowledged.

GoI is committed to bring voices of victims to the forefront & ensure justice. I know, for years truth was buried under pressure of terror ecosystem. Now, the families are exposing Pakistan & their supporters inside Kashmir.

Asked family members of terror victims, who are entitled for Govt jobs to submit their cases to concerned DCs. Assured them speedy process of appointment within a month. Assured financial assistance and hand-holding to family members who want to start their own business venture.

In cases where FIRs were not registered, directions will be given to register FIRs in those cases. Action will also be taken to free the land and property of terror victims' families encroached by terrorist sympathisers or separatist elements, LG Manoj Sinha said.

*Jammu Police, South Zone Cracks Down on Narcotics: Drug Peddler Nabbed by Bahu Fort Police Station, Recovered Heroin-Like Substance,Cash Rs 40,400 and One Electronic Weighing Scale*

: June 28, 2025: Under the Supervision of SP City South Jammu & SDPO City East Jammu and SHO Police Station Bahu Fort Inspector Sh. Rajesh Jasrotia, Jammu Police achieved a breakthrough with the arrest of a suspected lady drug peddler and recovery of a heroin-like substance,Cash of RS 40,400 and one electronic weighing scale under Operation Sanjeevani.

Acting on routine patrolling duties, a police team from Police Post Narwal, led by IC Police Post Narwal and assisted by other officials, intercepted a suspicious lady individual Near Rajiv Nagar Chowk.

The lady individual was identified as *Ranjana W/o Vishal R/o Rajiv Nagar Narwal Distt Jammu*. Upon conducting a search, the police recovered *11 gram heroin-like substance,Cash of RS 40,400 and one electronic weighing scale , from his possession.*

A case *FIR No. 200/2025 under sections 8/21/22/22/27A of the NDPS Act* has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort Jammu and the accused has been taken into custody for further investigation.

Jammu Police reiterates its commitment to eradicating drug menace from the society and urges citizens to come forward with any information regarding drug-related activities.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah launches ‘Mission YUVA’ at SKICC

: SRINAGAR, JUNE 28: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today launched the much-anticipated Mission YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), a visionary initiative to foster entrepreneurship in J&K by creating 1.37 lakh enterprises and 4.25 lakh jobs in 5 years.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah described the programme as a transformative initiative aimed at empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir through entrepreneurship, financial support and opportunity-rich ecosystem development.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister affirmed his government’s commitment to fulfil the aspirations of the region’s youth.

“I promise the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, that I will try my best to take you to that height, where you will not only write a better destiny for yourself, but for Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

The launch event was attended by Ministers Sakeena Itoo, Javed Rana and Satish Sharma; Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani; Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo; Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Dheeraj Gupta; Managing Director and CEO J&K Bank Amitabh Chatterjee; several MLAs; Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; Secretary Labour & Employment Kumar Rajiv Ranjan; Mission Director Mission Yuva Shehzad Alam; and a host of other dignitaries. The venue also saw an enthusiastic presence of young entrepreneurs from across Jammu and Kashmir.

Congratulating the people on the launch of Mission Yuva, the Chief Minister said that it’s not that previous governments didn’t attempt to address this issue; various schemes have been implemented in the past. “I will not stand here and claim that none of them worked. But every scheme can be improved, and each offers lessons to learn from. By engaging with you all, we can better understand how to strengthen such efforts,” he said.

Reflecting on past initiatives, he recalled that during his last tenure, his government also developed a scheme focused on youth entrepreneurship. “We worked diligently with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) and successfully created many entrepreneurs. Of course, not all of them succeeded, but whenever I visit different places, I often meet someone who tells me they started their business under our Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth (SKEWPY) scheme—and that many others are now employed under them,” the CM recalled.

Speaking on the discontinuation of earlier schemes, he stated, “Unfortunately, the government that followed ours was more concerned with changing the name of the program than continuing its vision. Let me say clearly: the name Mission Yuva should not be a matter of contention. It should not represent any party, any leader—not my name, nor anyone else’s. It should belong to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.”

The Chief Minister emphasized the grassroots foundation of the flagship programme, stating,

“This initiative is not the result of decisions made behind closed doors—it is built on extensive fieldwork, baseline survey, ample thought & time, and collective effort. The data compiled, as showcased in the publication released today, will provide a valuable basis for departments to shape their future policies and programmes. It will have far-reaching benefits across sectors like social welfare, youth development, education, and healthcare. ”As revealed that more than one crore people were surveyed in what can be called an exercise on the scale of a census. The findings indicate that Mission Yuva could potentially create over 1.5 lakh entrepreneurs and more than 4 lakh jobs, with over 30% participation from women.

Highlighting funding as a major hurdle for youth, the CM said, “Whenever we speak to aspiring entrepreneurs, the most common concern is lack of funding. Access to finance remains the biggest barrier. Under Mission Yuva, we are committed to removing this obstacle. Getting a loan from a bank typically requires a Detailed Project Report (DPR), which many young people don’t know how to prepare. That responsibility too has been taken up by this mission—through the use of Artificial Intelligence.”

He added that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will also be used to prepare bank-ready DPRs to eliminate delays and rejections in loan approvals.

“No matter how good your idea is, unless it reaches the market, your business will struggle. That’s why Mission Yuva is also focused on market linkage and ecosystem support.”

The Chief Minister praised the humility of the team that conceptualized the mission.

No one is above the . The Special Mobile Magistrate Poonch ordered the SHO, Police Station Poonch, to file an FIR against media channels spreading false news about Qari Mohd Iqbal, an Islamic scholar, during Indo-Pak tensions, portraying him as a terrorist.

The aforementioned directions were issued when the SHO and SSP Poonch refused to register an FIR against prominent media channels, as they only exercised their authority against those without influential backing.

Court of Inquiry against "DAAMADJI" of JAG Branch for CORRUPTION:

: It is utmost shameful that a Court of Inquiry ordered by HQ Delhi Area which was ordered for investigating the corruption in engagement of Counsel for the Govt by JAG Branch through "DAAMADJI" is yet to kickstart even after more than six months. is dragging its feet under the instructions of the JAG and allowing the Accused Officers of the JAG Branch to get scot free.

Not even a single witness has been examined by the said Court of Inquiry till date. Even the composition of the Court is such that it would not be able to do much. Is this a deliberate attempt to scuttle the probe into this corruption of possibly Crores of Rupees of Govt? If that is so, why do this sham drama even?

Bhanvi Bhardwaj crowned Miss Universe Jammu and Kashmir 2025

: Bhanvi Bhardwaj from Nowshera was crowned Miss Universe Jammu and Kashmir 2025 at a special event held on June 15, 2025 at The Opulent Hotel by Ferns N Petals in New Delhi. She was crowned by Miss Universe India 2024, Rhea Singha. Bhanvi will now represent Jammu and Kashmir at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe India competition, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.

Bhanvi Bhardwaj is a 23-year-old model and actor from Nowshera, a border town in Jammu & Kashmir. Standing 5’6” tall, she holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and is currently pursuing her final year of LLB at Mumbai University. A national-level karate player with a passion for dance, singing and acting,

Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.

Bhanvi's victory is seen as a moment of pride for the people of Nowshera.

: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that restoring Jammu and Kashmir as India’s top tourist destinations requires joint efforts from the government and all tourism stakeholders.

Speaking at FICCI’s ‘Tourism Revival Dialogue’ at SKICC Srinagar, he stressed the need to improve the tourist experience and build a stronger tourism ecosystem. He highlighted initiatives like Project SPREAD, which aims to develop nine new tourist spots across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the diverse tourism potential of Jammu & Kashmir and the importance of better connectivity and niche tourism sectors like MICE, golf, and destination weddings. He urged the tourism fraternity to remain involved, share suggestions, and work together to make J&K a vibrant and resilient tourist hub.

Is DGPC Jammu President Sleeping Like 'Kumbhkaran' And Only Legal Accountability Is The Key To Ending Harassment Among DGPC Members?

As per information four members of the DGPC Jammu, including the Vice President, General Secretary, and two other members, wrote a letter to the President of the DGPC. However, it seems the President is sleeping like ‘Kumbhkaran’—he has not even considered it appropriate to call the concerned members and inquire who misbehaved with them.

Is this silence acceptable ?

*SP South Chairs Crime Review Meeting of South Zone; Interacts with Newly Posted Probationary DySPs and SIs*

To strengthen policing standards and enhance crime control mechanisms, Superintendent of Police (SP) South Jammu, Sh. Ajay Sharma–JKPS, chaired a comprehensive Crime Review Meeting of South Zone today at the DPL, Jammu. The meeting was attended by SDPO East, all SHOs and ICPPs of the South Zone, as well as the newly posted Probationary DySPs and Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in the South Zone of Jammu District.

The meeting was convened to assess the performance of the Police Stations for this month, review progress on pending investigations, and outline actionable priorities for the coming weeks. During the session, SP South gave clear directions to all SHOs for maintaining strong supervision over investigations and ensuring timely disposal of cases.

*Orientation and Directions to New Probationary Officers*

A special segment of the meeting was devoted to interacting with newly posted Probationary DySPs and SIs, marking their formal introduction to field responsibilities in the Police force. SP South welcomed the officers and emphasized the importance of integrity, professional conduct, and public service ethics in their role as first responders and investigators.

Strong directions were also given to have a very upright professional conduct and a very high integrity. SP South cautioned that zero tolerance will be shown towards misconduct, bribery, or abuse of power in any form. Officers were advised to uphold the dignity of the uniform and lead by example in maintaining public trust.

SP South also reviewed deployment plans and contingency preparedness related to Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2025 security. All SHOs and supervisory officers were directed to maintain a high level of alertness, ensure seamless coordination with other stakeholders, and extend courteous assistance to pilgrims passing through the South Zone. Emphasis was laid on area domination, naka points, and proactive patrolling to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure a safe and smooth yatra experience.

The meeting concluded with SP South urging all officers, especially the newly inducted probationary ranks, to approach their duties with a strong sense of purpose, fairness, and accountability.
