A proud sight at Green View Park, Hoshiarpur — the mighty T-55 battle tank, once a symbol of strength and courage on the battlefield, now stands tall near the War Memorial as a tribute to our Indian Army.
This Soviet-designed T-55, operated by India for decades, reminds us of the bravery, sacrifice, and discipline of the soldiers who guarded our nation with unwavering dedication.
Each bolt, each track, each scar on this steel warrior carries stories of valor — stories that deserve to be remembered every single day.
Let’s take a moment to honor those who stood behind this machine…

ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਵਿਊ ਪਾਰਕ, ਹੋਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ‘ਚ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਟੀ-55 ਟੈਂਕ, ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਚ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਤੇ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਸੋਵੀਅਤ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਟੈਂਕ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਅੱਜ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ — ਸਾਡੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੌਰਿਆ ਗਾਥਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਇਸ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਪਹੀਆ, ਹਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ, ਹਰ ਖਰੋਚ ਇੱਕ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ — ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਹਿਫ਼ਾਜ਼ਤ ਲਈ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਡਟੇ ਰਹੇ।
