’S TASK FORCE, JUBILEE HILLS ZONE – (06) PERSONS POSING AS DOCTORS AND MEDICAL PRACTICE
On 24-08-2026, on credible information, the sleuths of ’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone Team, along with the concerned Police Stations, conducted raids at different locations in the Jubilee Hills and apprehended six (06) persons who were allegedly posing as qualified doctors without possessing valid medical qualifications and were conducting unauthorized medical practice. The accused persons were allegedly providing medical treatment to innocent patients, including administering IV saline/glucose, injections and, in some cases, surgical suturing/stitches, while falsely representing themselves as qualified medical practitioners. Such acts endangered the health and safety of patients and resulted in illegal financial gain.
1. Madhura Nagar PS – Sri Aqua First Aid Centre
On credible information, the Task Force team, along with Madhura Nagar Police, raided “Sri Aqua First Aid Centre”, situated near Rahmath Nagar X Road, Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad, and apprehended the following two persons:
1) D. Rama Shekar Reddy, S/o D. Venki Reddy, age: 43 years, Occ.: Medical Shop, R/o MIG-57, Anu Elight, Green Hills Road, KPHB Phase-15, Hyderabad.
2) Ragam Sudhakar, S/o R. Veeraswamy, age: 38 years, Occ.: First Aid Centre, R/o H. No. 92/30, Rajeev Gruhakalpa, Nizampet, Hyderabad.
The accused, D. Rama Shekar Reddy, has been running a pharmacy in the name of “Aqua Pharmacy”, situated near Rahmath Nagar X Road, Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad, since 2015. The pharmacy is registered in the name of his wife, Naga Jyothi Vuppalapati, who studied D-Pharmacy, vide Reg. Nos. 039621/A2, dated 27-02-2004, and license No. TG/16/04/2015-5770, 5771, 5772 & 5773, dated 11-01-2024 and the licence being renewed every five years. Taking advantage of the pharmacy, D. Rama Shekar Reddy has been dispensing medicines to the public without possessing any valid medical qualification. About one year ago, due to poor business at the pharmacy, he engaged a person namely Ragam Sudhakar, who had studied Diploma in Anaesthesia Technician from Vijaya Para Medical College, Dilsukhnagar in the 2023. Previously he worked seven years as Anaesthesia Technician in Omini Hospital, Kukatpally under Dr. Kiranmai, Anaesthesiologist and established a clinic adjacent to the pharmacy in the name of “Sri Aqua First Aid Centre.” Ragam Sudhakar, despite not being a qualified medical practitioner, posed himself as a doctor, collecting Rs. 200/- as consultation fee from each patient and attended to approximately 40–50 patients per day and prescribed medicines that were available in the adjoining Aqua Pharmacy. Further, the accused persons were allegedly providing various medical treatments, including administering saline/glucose, giving injections and performing surgical suturing (stitches), without possessing the requisite medical qualifications. In this manner, both accused persons have been illegally practising medicine by falsely representing themselves as qualified doctors, deceiving innocent patients, endangering their lives and earning money unlawfully.

2. Madhura Nagar PS – First Aid Centre, Rahmath Nagar
On the same day, the Task Force team, along with Madhura Nagar Police, raided an unregistered clinic styled as “First Aid Centre”, situated at Rahmath Nagar, Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad, and apprehended:
1) Mirudoddy Bharathi, W/o Mirudoddy Rajesh, age: 44 years, Occ.: Posing as Doctor, R/o near Hanuman Temple, Rahmath Nagar, Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad.
The accused woman is a native of BD Colony, Toopran, Medak District, Telangana. She completed a two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Paramedical) course at Sri Chaitanya College, Siddipet, followed by a one-year apprenticeship at Government College, Siddipet. Thereafter, she reportedly worked as a nurse at Sri Sai Hospital, Toopran, under Dr. Murlidhar, MBBS, for about 20 years. About four years ago, she migrated to Hyderabad and established the said clinic without valid registration or licence. She allegedly collected ₹50/- to ₹100/- per patient as consultation fee and attended to approximately 10–15 patients per day, besides dispensing medicines and providing medical treatment without the requisite qualifications. She allegedly posed as a doctor without possessing valid medical qualifications and was providing medical treatment, including IV saline/glucose, injections, surgical stitches and treatment to paediatric patients.

3. Jubilee Hills PS – Unnamed Clinic, Venkatagiri
The Task Force team, along with Jubilee Hills Police, raided an unnamed/unregistered clinic situated at Venkatagiri, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, and apprehended:
1) Katika Mahesh Rao, S/o K. Janardhan Rao, age: 43 years, Occ.: Fake Doctor, R/o Hylam Colony, Venkatagiri, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The accused allegedly posed as a doctor without possessing any valid medical qualification and was administering saline/glucose and injections and providing medical treatment to patients.
The accused is a native of Bekkam Village, Veepangandla Mandal, Mahbubnagar District, Telangana, and completed his B.A. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. He migrated to Hyderabad in 2021 and initially ran a food stall at Krishnakanth Park. About two years ago, he rented a room at Venkatagiri and allegedly started running an unregistered clinic without any name. He allegedly collected ₹50/- to ₹100/- per patient as consultation fee and attended to approximately 40–50 patients per day. He also allegedly prescribed medicines available at the adjoining medical shop and administered saline/glucose and injections without possessing the requisite medical qualifications.

4. Film Nagar PS – Sai Tirumala Clinic
The Task Force team, along with Film Nagar Police, raided “Sai Tirumala Clinic”, situated at GJS Nagar, Film Nagar, Hyderabad, and apprehended:
1) Panuganti Bala Narasimha, S/o Mallaiah, age: 52 years, Occ.: Medical Shop Business, R/o H. No. 8-1-338/3/B/38, BJR Nagar, Shaikpet, Hyderabad.
The accused allegedly posed as a doctor without possessing any valid medical qualification and was administering saline/glucose, injections and performing surgical stitches. He has been running a pharmacy in the name of “Sai Tirumala Medical & General Store” near GJS Nagar, Film Nagar, Hyderabad, since 2024. The pharmacy is registered in his name under Reg. No. TG064412, dated 21-09-2024, with Licence No. TS/HYD/2023-105736, stated to be renewed every three years. Taking advantage of the pharmacy, he allegedly established a clinic adjacent to the medical shop in the name of his daughter P. Parameshwari, who has completed MBBS from Osmania Medical College and is presently preparing for PG entrance. Despite not being a qualified medical practitioner himself, the accused allegedly represented himself as a doctor, collected ₹100/- per patient as consultation fee, attended to approximately 30–40 patients per day, prescribed medicines available in the adjoining medical shop and administered saline/glucose and injections and performed surgical suturing/stitches.

5. Borabanda PS – Unnamed Clinic, Ganga Nagar
The Task Force team, along with Borabanda Police, raided an unnamed/unregistered clinic situated near Vegetable Market, Ganga Nagar, Borabanda, Hyderabad, and apprehended:
1) Mohd. Abdul Vali, S/o Late Mohd. Abdul Ali, age: 54 years, Occ.: Private Job, R/o H. No. 8-3-162/A/79/3, Sanjay Nagar, Yousufguda, Hyderabad.
The accused allegedly posed as a doctor without possessing any valid medical qualification and was administering saline/glucose and injections to patients.
The accused is a native of LB Nagar, Warangal, Telangana. He studied up to Intermediate but discontinued his education due to backlogs. He reportedly worked as a Lab Technician at Swathi Clinic in Warangal under Dr Venkateshwarlu, MBBS for about 10 years. In 2016, he migrated to Hyderabad and joined GM Diagnostics, Moti Nagar, as a Lab Technician. Subsequently, he rented a room near Vegetable Market, Ganga Nagar, Borabanda, and allegedly started running an unregistered clinic without any name. He allegedly collected ₹50/- to ₹100/- per patient as consultation fee and attended to approximately 10–20 patients per day. He also allegedly prescribed medicines available at the adjoining medical shop and administered saline/glucose and injections without possessing the requisite medical qualifications.

The accused and seized material were handed over to SHO, Borabanda PS, for further legal action.
The apprehensions were made under the supervision of Jubilee Hills Zone Task Force Inspector Ch. Yadender, with SI Mohd. Jahed, SI G. Sandeep Reddy and SI D. Ravi Raj, along with the staff of Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Team, and the respective Madhura Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar and Borabanda Police.
Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad continues to take stringent action against persons indulging in unauthorized medical practice and endangering the lives and safety of innocent members of the public.
