Traffic Task Force services started in Cyberabad*
Cyberabad CP Mr. Stephen Ravindra, IPS., formally launched the Task Force vehicles by hoisting the flag.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Mr. Stephen Ravindra, IPS., flagged off the traffic task course vehicles today.
CP said on this occasion. . Keeping in view the increasing traffic congestion in the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, Cyberabad Traffic Task Force has been formed in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate as part of visible policing.
He said that this task force is working under the supervision of Cyberabad Traffic DCP Shri Srinivas Rao.
Six motorcycles have been specially made for this task force. A total of 12 constables, two on each bike, will be in this task force. An SI rank officer will be in charge of them These task force teams patrol the areas with heavy traffic during peak hours.
This traffic task force police works in coordination with law and order police. They especially the Cyberabad Traffic Task Force police regularly give appropriate instructions to the public on traffic related issues through the Public Address System (PAS) of their two-wheelers.
Also, when any chain snatching happens, if a call is received from the control room, they will immediately alert and try to catch the snatchers.
They also help children, old people and disabled people to cross the road. While they are patrolling, you will assist the public if there is any problem with their vehicles.
Also, they do the work of avoiding traffic jams, clearing the vehicles blocking the roads, clearing the vehicles in the no parking place etc.
