Chief Minister Sri Revanth Reddy garu has instructed the officials to be alert and not to cause any damage due to rains in Hyderabad and several districts of the state. According to the instructions given by the Meteorological Department that heavy rains will fall, adequate precautions are suggested.
❇️ It has been ordered that officers of all departments should be available within the limits of Hyderabad, GHMC, Police, HYDRAA, Traffic, Electricity departments should work in coordination. Chief Minister garu said that there is no water storage on the roads, traffic problems and electricity problems should not arise.
❇️ Alternative measures should be taken so that especially the low-lying areas of the city are not flooded and people are not troubled. Requested people to be alert in the areas where it is raining. The Chief Minister has ordered to review the current rainfall situation in all districts along with Greater Hyderabad.
❇️ Chief Minister has warned the medical health department that there is a risk of seasonal diseases and fever due to the upcoming rains. Collectors of districts which mainly have agency areas and forested areas said the focus should be on public health. Covid cases are also being registered in neighboring states, it has been ordered to take adequate precautions according to the season in all districts.
Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions to prevent any damage caused by the heavy rains currently affecting Hyderabad and several other districts across the state. He emphasized adherence to the guidelines issued by the Meteorological Department, which has forecasted continued heavy rainfall.
❇️ The Chief Minister instructed that all departmental officials in Hyderabad must remain on alert and be readily available. He stressed the importance of close coordination among GHMC, Police, HYDRAA, Traffic, and Electricity departments to ensure smooth functioning during the rainy period. He specifically emphasized that there should be no waterlogging on roads, no traffic disruptions, and no electricity outages.
❇️ Alternative measures must be implemented to prevent water accumulation, especially in the city’s low-lying areas, to minimize inconvenience to residents. Shri Revanth Reddy urged citizens to remain cautious in areas experiencing heavy rainfall. He further ordered periodic reviews of the rain situation across all districts, including Greater Hyderabad.
❇️ The Chief Minister has also alerted the Medical and Health Department to the increased risk of seasonal diseases and fevers associated with the rainy season. He urged district collectors, particularly those overseeing agency and forest areas, to prioritize public health measures. Given the rise in Covid cases reported in neighboring states, he directed all districts to take appropriate preventive actions in line with seasonal health advisories.
