Case : 28/50 Dave kroupe Part : 2 ( The Obsession Between Love And Crime ) Case - USA, August, 2012

6) Farver’s mother reported her missing on November 16, 2012. Farver’s debit card was also used that day, and police later linked purchases—including a distinctive shower curtain—to Golyar.

7) For years, Kroupa and others received threatening messages supposedly from Farver, while Golyar also presented herself as a victim. The deception included harassment, vandalism, and other incidents designed to make Farver appear responsible.

8) In 2015–2016, investigators uncovered digital evidence connecting Golyar to the fake Farver communications. Farver’s Ford Explorer contained her blood, and searches found photographs and other digital evidence supporting the conclusion that Farver had been killed.

9) Golyar was charged about four years after Farver’s disappearance and was convicted after a bench trial of first-degree murder and second-degree arson. Farver’s body was never recovered, but Nebraska law allowed the murder conviction to be proved through circumstantial evidence.

10) Golyar was sentenced to life imprisonment for first-degree murder plus 18–20 years for arson, served consecutively. On November 9, 2018, the Nebraska Supreme Court affirmed the convictions and sentences.
