TWO HABITUAL SPURIOUS SEED SELLERS HAVE BEEN DETAINED UNDER PD ACT BY CP. RACHAKONDA.

In an ongoing drive againal spurious seed sellers to create sense of safety and security among the farmers community for their investments on cotton farming and to preserve public order in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits, CP invoked PD Act against two habitual spurious cotton seed sellers. They were continuously and repeatedly indulging in soling of banned herbicide tolerant cotton soads in the limits of Rachakonda, Nalgonda and Bhadrad-Kothagudem Dist. Undoubtedly, the acts and misdeeds committed by accuted not only landed the poor farmers in a perennial trap but also cheated then and their dependant families with conspiracy beyond recovery which ultimately resulting in suicides of farmers and thereby affecting the public order adversely

HISTORY & MODUS OPERANDI OF THE ACCUSED:

The proposed defenu Mannem Laxmi Narayana hailed from Shantinagar Village of Waddepally Mandal in Jogulamba-Gadwal District. In greed of money, he took a shed in Uppal area and started indulging in illegal manufacture, storing and selling of spurious seeds for his pecuniary benefits. Between 2019 and 2021, as many as (10) cases for circulating/supplying and manufacturing spuncus send were reported againd him in the lenits of Bhadradri-Kothagudem Nalgonda Districts and Rachakonda Commissionerate

As such, during the year 2020, he was detained under PD Act by Commissionar of Police. Rachakonda and lodged in Central Prison, Cherlapally. Soon after he was released from detention, he again started purchasing BT3 Cation seeds from one sub agent Namburi Srinivasa Rao @ Rs 350/- per Ko gram and selling the same @ 450 farmer community and thus he was making easy money

The other proposed desenu Namburi Srinivasa Rao hailed from AP State and worked in Bharathi Seed Company for about two years and as such he was well acquainted with the process of seed manufacturing In due course, he came in contact with one by name Narayana Reddy a native of Karnataka State. He was already indulging in illegal manufacture of BT-3 Cotton seeds in his own company. In greed of mandy, the proposed detenu started purchasing Spunous Cotton Seeds from him at the rate of Rs 250/- per kilogram and selling the same at Rs 350- through his agents including to Mannem Laxmi Narayana. Thus, during the year 2021, both the deteriues

were involved arrested by Nalgonda Police for seling Spurious seeds/banned cotton seeds to the farmer community.

On 01-05-2022, in a tip-off information, Vanasthalipuram Police and Agriculture officers of Saroornagar Mandal raided H.No.3-14-125/16 Kamalanagar Vanasthalipuram of the accused Mannem Launi Narayana, where seized (30) nags containing 87-3 Cotton Seeds and one Cat which was being used for transporting

The arrested accused were remanded to judicial custody, lodged in Central Prison, Cherlapally and subsequently they were enlarged on ball

With a view to prevent said accused from acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, Preventive Detention orders are invoked against both of them by Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS as a part of preservation of peace and to check the menace of Spurious seed offenders on 11-06 2022 and detained them in Central Prison, Cherlapally,

MODUS OPERANDI:

Investigation reveals that A1 to A3 who are close friends and A-1 Macherla Srikanth is addicted to bad habits, lavish life, to fulfill his desires, to earn easy money used to commit parked two-wheeler thefts only Splendor, Passion, Galmour, Shine bikes as they are very easy to unlock by using a false key, in the midnight, early morning hours when public in deep sleep in residential areas. Since 2020 A-1 committed theft of two-wheeler vehicles, from different areas of Hyderabad, Cyberabad & Rachakonda commissionorates, for disposal of two wheeler vehicles he used to give them to his friends A-2 Ganesh and A-3 Satu Srisailam @ Tillu for a lesser price and to sale in rural areas i.e. Shadnagar, Chowlapally, Keshampet etc. A2 and A3 sale the vehicles to the needy customers in the pretext of the vehicles has been seized by financers, soon they will arrange the vehicle documents to legalize.

On 10-06-2022 at about 1630 hours while conducting vehicle checking by Sri Ghouse Khan DSI, he apprehended the accused A1 who found suspicious, basing on the confession of A1 apprehended the remaining accused persons A2 and A3 under the supervision of Sri. BRIEF FACTS:-
On 21-05-2022 at around 14.30 hrs one lady namely Smt. Sujatha, 56 yrs, private school teacher lodged a complaint at police station Shalibanda and stated that, at about 12.45 hrs she went to purchase vegetables near Sharadha school, near Shamsheergunj one unknown person came on one motor cycle and snatched her mangalasutram and sped away from the spot and requested to take necessary action. Basing on the complaint a case has been registered in Crime No. 90/2022 U/Sec 392 IPC at Shalibanda police station.
MODUS OPERAND:
The accused Mohd Faisal Shah is born and brought up in Asifnagar, Hyderabad. He discontinued his intermediate from Anwar Ul Uloom College at Nampally. After his intermediate he worked as computer operator at ICICI Bank at Panjagutta. Due to financial crisis he hatched a plan to commit chain snatching in the limits of Hyderabad city. As pr his plan he started committing offences since 2006. Subsequently, he Involved in more than 135 Chain Snatching cases in Tri-Commission rates. As of now (02) times he detained under PD Act, from Langerhouse PS and Sulthanbazar PS.
Fazal Sha Ali released from jail on 08/04/2022. After releasing from jail he met with one of his friend Md. Khaleel and taken shelter. Due to financial crisis both hatched a plan to commit chain snatching cases in the limits of Hyderabad city and surrounding areas to earn easy money. As per their plan they procured one second hand bike. After that, the accused Faizal sha Ali committed three chain snatching cases in the limits of Shalibanda, Narayanguda and Saroornagr police station limits. After committing offences he handed over the stolen property to Kaleel for further disposal and for further share.

Basing on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone team along with Shahalibanda Police apprehended the above said accused and recovered the stolen property. Later, the arrested accused and recovered property handed over to SHO Shahalibanda Police Station for further action.

The organizer Syed Imran is residing at Sri Ram Nagar, Banjarahills, Hyderabad. Previously he used to run Ho**ah parlour in Bottles & Chimney pub situated at Begumpet, Hyderabad. But the Government of Telangana have banned Ho**ah parlours; as such accused Syed Imran decided to earn easy money by providing Ho**ah’s to known customers during party and functions to needy customers from his home and it is also noticed that during weekend the organizer is supplying Ho**ah at Farm House situated at Moinabad and surrounding area. The accused Syed Imran engage Syed Ahmed for mixing Ho**ah for providing the same to customer and providing monthly salary. The accused used to purchase Ho**ah flavours from Shahran market and providing each ho**ah bottle RS 800/- and earning easy money.

Their modus operandi includes, they loaded Decor sheets at Achuthapuram and came to Rajamundry and there one Mukesh handed over the G***a to A-1 and A-2 and they concealed in the Decor sheets and while transporting to Jaipur of Rajasthan State to handover to one Purana Singh at Jaipur of Rajasthan State by avoid being arrested by Police.

The above work was conducted under the supervision of Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS. CP Rachakonda and Sri. Sudheer babu IPS, Addl. CP Rachakonda, Sri. P. Yadagiri IPS I/C DCP Yadadri Bhongir Zone. Sri. BRIEF FACTS ABOUT THE ACCUSED: -
The prime accused V. Lakshmipathi is a resident of Adithyanagar, Hafeezpet,
Cyberabad is procuring the Narcotic Drug from the drug supplier Nageswar Rao @
Nagesh of Araku on lower price. The said V. Lakshmipathi also addicted to consume
Hash Oil and selling it to potential customers in Hyderabad through his organised drug
network. As his meagre earnings are not sufficient to meet his financial expenditure, he
decided to sell the Narcotic drug to gain easy money. Periodically he is purchasing

Hash Oil from Nagesh by visiting Araku and also in Hyderabad. He used to purchase 1
KG of Hash Oil for Rs.50,000/- and selling 5 grams for Rs.3,000/-. He formed a big
organised network in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda limits and supplying the
Hash Oil to the sub-peddlers and addicted consumers.

The supplier K. Nageswara Rao @ Nagesh belongs to Logili Village, Araku
Mandal, Vishakhapatnam. He cultivates and supplies G***a and Hash Oil to the
Peddlers. His entire family and relatives are involved in this business and supplies the
drug to the various parts of the country. On preliminary enquiry, Nagesh has peddlers
from Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh & Bihar.
Today i.e., on 06.04.2022, on credible information, the H-NEW along with
Nallakunta PS apprehended the drug peddler at Secunderabad Railway Station and
seized the material i.e., 840 grams of Hash Oil, (04) CELL PHONES and (01) Two-
wheeler from his possession.
On enquiry, he revealed that, about some consumers are purchasing Hash oil
from him for their regular consumption, out of them (02) persons are apprehended
viz.,1) Vamsi Krishna and 2) Vikram Monga. The apprehended accused persons
along with seized material were handed over to SHO, Nallakunta PS for investigation.

APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC: -

online cricket betting racket busted by special operations team, lb nagar zone, rachakonda – 07 held –property seized all w/rs.56 lakhs.
On a tip off, the Sleuths of Special Operations Team, LB Nagar Zone Team, Rachakonda, conducted raid at Plot No. 30, Satya Nagar Colony, under the limits of Vanasthalipuram Police Station, busted an IPL cricket betting racket and apprehended 07-accused persons and seized net cash of Rs.11,80,000/- and found Rs.31,17,576/- in two AXIS Bank & ICICI accounts belongs to main bookie Ch. Sai Ram Varma and Roman Cathlist Kulamdai Swamy, One Laptop, Nine Mobile phones and other incriminating material, from their possession.

During the interrogation, the accused Tanniru Nagaraju is R/o Vaidehi Nagar, Vanasthalipuram who is bookie addicted to betting and earning easy money by organizing and accepting cricket betting’s in Hyderabad during IPL cricket match season. Ch. Sai Ram Varma who is the main bookie has so many sub-bookies like Tanniru Nagaraju in Twin cities. Tanniru Nagarju receives cricket betting rates from Ch. Sai Ram Varma to his line number and he informs the same to his punters. He made a setup of 3-line numbers. After completion of match Tanniru Nagaraju collects and distributes the winning and losing amounts through one Gundu Kishore, whom he appointed as accountant. Some of his customers/punters used to send money to various bank accounts through Paytm, Net Banking, etc. Tanniru Nagaraju was earlier arrested by Vanasthalipuram police in a similar case in the year 2016.
The accused Tanniru Nagaraju confessed that, he and his common friend Gundu Kishore both are having good experience in running and accepting Cricket betting during cricket matches, Tanniru Nagaraju secured the presenece of Gundu Kishore from Machilipatnam to Hyderabad for operating computer during this IPL season for two months and offered to pay an amount Rs.50,000/- per month. Tanniru Ashok and Chemmeti Vinod are the distant relatives of Tanniru Nagaraju, on the request of Tanniru Nagaraju they are working as sub-bookie and the entire setup was established at the house of Chemmeti Vinod.
MODUS OPERANDI: -
The accused revealed that the bookies arranged telephonic lines using connections and they give line numbers to the punters. The betting starts after the first ball of first over and goes on till the last ball, it fluctuates depending up on the situation of match. The punters make calls to the bookies while the match is running and place their betting. While placing betting, Bookies note down the details of betting and punter and the conversation will also automatically get recorded. After completion of match, bookies inform to their collection agents about the details of collection and distribution of amount that how much amount has to collect from a particular punter and how much amount has to give.
Based on that information the collection agents collect the money from losers and distribute the money to winners and the remaining amount i.e., profit will be given to Bookie. Sometimes punters directly send money to the Bookies to their bank accounts using Paytm, Net Banking, etc. Main bookie gives 3% to sub bookies in overall profits.
Subsequently, on 05-04-2022 at 20:15 hrs, on credible information the sleuths of SOT, LB Nagar Zone Team along with Vanasthalipuram police conducted raid over Plot No. 30, Satya Nagar Colony and apprehended the respondents R1 to R7 who are accepting cricket betting during Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, 13th Match over cell phones for ongoing IPL Cricket matches from the known punters and his close friends in an organized manner and earning money illegally.
The above arrests were made under the direct supervision of Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Sunpreeth Singh, IPS., Dy. Commissioner of Police, LB Nagar Zone and Sri K. Muralidhar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Operations Team, Rachakonda, Sri K. Purushotham Reddy, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Vanasthalipuram Division, by Sri B. Anji Reddy, Inspector of Police, SOT-LB Nagar Zone, Sri K. Satyanarayana, Inspector of Police, Vanasthalipuram police station, Sub-Inspectors Sri Md. Thakiuddin, AA Raju, K. Prathap Reddy and staff of SOT, LB Nagar zone, Rachakonda.
