INTERSTATE DRUG PEDDLING RACKET BUSTED BY COMMISSIONER'S TASK FORCE. SOUTH-EAST ZONE TEAM ALONG WITH BANDLAGUDA POLICE FOR TRANSPORTING G***A-(03) HELD AND SEIZED CONTRABAND G***A WEIGHING 908.41 KGS WORTH Rs. 2,70,00,000/-(TWO CRORES AND SEVENTY LAKHS).
In a major breakthrough against narcotics trafficking, the Commissioner's Task Force. South-East Zone Team, in coordination with the Bandlaguda police, successfully busted an interstate drug peddling racket involved in transporting G***a from Malkangiri of Odisha to Maharashtra via Hyderabad.

THE DETAILS OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS:-
1) Mohammed Kaleem Uddin @ Mohammed S/o Mohammed Fareed Uddin, Age 32 years, Occ: Heavy Driver/G***a Transporter, R/o Hussain Shah Nagar. Golconda, Hyderabad,
2) Shaik Sohail Sohail, 5/0 Shaik Saleem. Age 23 years, Occ: AC Technician, R/o Near Bilal Masjid. Patel Nagar, Amberpet, Hyderabad.
3) Mohammed Afzal Abbu. 5/0 late Mohd Nisar Ahmed. Age 25 years, Occ AC/Fridge Washing Machine Technician, Rio Near Rayees Bhai Hotel, Patel Nagar. Amberpet, Hyderabad.
SEIZED PROPERTY:
1) G***a weighing about 908.41 KGs.

Total seized property worth about Rs. 2,70,00,000/- (Two Crores and Seventy Lakh Rupees)
The accused persons were childhood friends and native of Amberpet. Hyderabad. Mohammed Kaleem Uddin Mohammed works as a heavy vehicle driver, Shaik Sohail is an A/C technician and Mohammed Afzal Abbu is a associate of Rahman (Main Transporter) who is the brother of Kaleem Uddin, in a rice business. On thorough interrogation, they revealed that in the month of June Rahman came in contact with one Jithu, N/o Kalimela, Odisha (Supplier) and Suresh N/o Srikakulam (Supplier) who offered Rs.. 3 to 5 Lakhs per trip for transporting G***a from Odisha to Maharashtra via Andhra. Telangana & Karnataka States, to be delivered to one Mahesh Rio Sanganmer. Nashik. Maharashtra (Receiver). Rahman accepted the offer and arranged his associates mentioned above, in turn, promised to give Rs. 50,000/- to each per single trip. Being in need of money, they agreed to participate in the transport. Accordingly, as per the directions of Rahman, on the intervening night of 16/17-10-2025, they started from Hyderabad, went to Palasa Village, Srikakulam District and loaded the DCM vehicle with HDPE bags containing cashew shells. Later, they proceeded to a forest area near Malakngiri, Odisha, where they met Suresh & Jithu, from whom they collected (28) HDPE bags containing g***a. The contraband was concealed beneath the HDPE bags cashew shell load and covered the load with a tarpaulin to avoid detection by the police and they started and reached Hyderabad and parked the said DCM containing the Contraband in isolated place situated at Patel
Nagar, Amberpet, Hyderabad for (02) days. On 22-10-2025 again the Kaleemuddin secured the presence of Sohail & Afzal and started towards Nashik. Maharashtra via Chandrayangutta, Bandlaguda. Meanwhile at about 1430 hours the staff of the South-East Task Force in coordination with Bandlaguda Police and other witnesses intercepted the said DCM along with contraband i.e., G***a at OS Palace Function Hall Main Road, Bandlaguda. On Interrogation they confessed that, they are the associates to Rahman who is a main transporter and as per hit instructions they are going to Palasa of Srikakulam Dist where they load the Cashew shells in their vehicle from there they used to go Kalimela. Malkangiri of Odisha where they met Suresh & Jithu and got loaded the needy contraband in (28) HDPE Bags, keep the g***a bags beneath the cashew shells and cover with black tarpaulin and start from there to deliver to the receiver by name Mahesh at Sanganmer, Nashik, Maharashtra The contraband/G***a along with other material were seized under the provisions of panchanama.
In this case, the accused persons 1) Rahman Rio Hyderabad, 2) Jithu Rio Kalimela. Odisha, 3) Suresh Rio Srikakulam and 4) Mahesh R/o Maharashtra are found absconding
The seized G***a sourced from the remote forest areas of Kalimela, Malkangiri of Odisha State, was intended for distribution across various locations in Maharashtra State. underscoring the extensive reach of the drug trafficking network. The accused is currently in custody and further investigation is underway to identify additional members of the syndicate and trace the supply chain.
The proactive efforts of the Team of Commissioner's Task Force, South-East Zone Team and Bandlaguda Police led to the successful interception of this drug trafficking operation, highlighting their continued commitment to combat illegal drug activities and ensuring the safety of the community.
Hyderabad City Police determined and doing sustained efforts to curb the drug menace. coupled with drug awareness campaign, continues to remain our top priority. We are disrupting the supply chain of drugs, identifying the drug peddlers & consumers and taking necessary steps to curb the drug menace. Further appeals the society to cooperate with police in curbing this menace.
The above arrests were made under the direct supervision of Shri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City under the guidance of Shri Ande Srinivasa Rao.
