Happy patients are a joy like none. and . That was me as a young doctor setting out to change the world a decade ago. This was clicked at a rural screening camp. Still on the same mission 🤞

📢 To all my dear in so called “non clinical” roles who face the conundrum- Is the patient still my focus? Once a always a physician?

Yesterday, when my child asked why I chose , why did i ever become a doctor, my answer was simple: “To help patients.” “But you spend most of your time in board rooms, laptops and Zoom meetings she exclaimed”!

As my career has evolved into healthcare management and entrepreneurship, this core purpose remains. Patient care was and is the focus.

In my latest blog, I explore:
🔹 The evolving role of doctors in non-clinical settings
🔹 Balancing patient care with healthcare metrics
🔹 Enabling better healthcare models
🔹 Challenges in the Indian healthcare system and the push for value-based care

Today you would have been 63 and I would have breathed easy knowing you were around. You took my side when no one else would. What a friend I have found and lost in you!

You told me I could conquer the world, i believe so
You looked at me as if I was the most beautiful woman on the planet, i know i am
You have shown me how giving up is not an option, so i march on
You taught me how to risk it all and lose it all without regrets, so I have none
You showed me how to unconditionally love and forgive, so i try
Am here standing, fighting and smiling despite it all because I saw you do it all your life.

I don’t settle for less and my standards are right up there for I have known you ❤️.

I enjoy this the most as part of my professional journey than anything else that I do- young minds.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of speaking with PGDHM students at ASCI PGDM(Hospital Management) about and in healthcare.

We delved into:

1. planning and its implementation in the healthcare sector.

2. Explored effective marketing techniques tailored for healthcare.

3. Discussed the importance of market analysis and competitive positioning.

4.Highlighted patient engagement and communication strategies.

5.Emphasized leveraging technology and data for informed decision-making

Engaging with young minds is incredibly special. Their enthusiasm and insightful questions are a testament to their potential and drive. As leaders, sharing our knowledge is not just a duty but a profound opportunity. It allows us to shape future leaders, stay connected with emerging ideas, and continually refine our own understanding.

There is no greater contentment in life than giving. Mentoring offers a sense of peace and fulfillment, adding deeper meaning to my professional journey. I’m grateful for the opportunity to both teach and learn, and I look forward to more such enriching interactions.

✨Oh no! My kid did not top the class this time.

But yes, I still told her that I’m proud of her. I always thought my daughter was kind, delicate, fragile, yet strong enough to get up when she falls. Once again, she surprised me with her maturity, a touch of innocence, and love for everything that comes her way. 🌼

As parents, we strive to protect our children while nurturing their growth. Key insights from my journey:

✅ Emotional Intelligence: Kids are no less intelligent but they just need more space and vocabulary to express themselves.

✅ Mental Wellness: Openness to explore reduces mental health risks.

✅ Respect Opinions: Listening builds confidence.

Encountering questions like “Why does think they are aging like milk?” sparks a deep dive into reality, which always resonates with me. As a , my instinct is to seek root causes and offer solutions, but as a fellow human, I wonder why younger generations perceive aging negatively. Aging is a beautiful journey of wisdom and growth, yet some see it as akin to spoiling milk.

In this Q&A session, I share my experiences and the mental strength gained from aging, encouraging every child and teenager to celebrate wisdom and unique identities beyond appearances. Aging gracefully means embracing every stage of life with courage and appreciation. 🌱
