About the author:
Shankar Prasad Punnam after completion of graduation started his career in Agricuture Engineering and worked closely with farmers at ground level for 20years. As a Committee Member of the Institution of Engineers(India), Telangana State Centre and Convenor of Water Management Forum organized several capacity building programs on Water Conservation. As an engineer, he served in the areas of water water resources infrastructure planning, agricultural water management for result oriented development.
