The Ganesh immersion process in Hyderabad for 2026 has almost concluded peacefully.

A theft case has been reported in Green City under the jurisdiction of Balapur Police Station.
According to preliminary information, an unidentified thief allegedly entered a house and fled with 250 grams of silver along with important household documents.
The incident has created concern among residents in the area.

🚨 Caretaker Arrested Within 24 Hours in Hyderabad Theft Case
Nallakunta Police have cracked a theft case within 24 hours and arrested a caretaker who allegedly stole 26 tolas of gold ornaments, ₹25,000 in cash, and three mobile phones from the house of an elderly woman in New Nallakunta, Hyderabad.
The accused was apprehended at LB Nagar Bus Stand while allegedly attempting to flee the city. Police recovered all 26 tolas of stolen gold and the three mobile phones.
Secunderabad Zone DCP Smt. Raksh*ta Krishna Murthy, IPS, briefed the media regarding the arrest and recovery.

YOUTH BRUTALLY STABBED TO DEATH BY FRIENDS IN UPPERPALLY

Hyderabad: A youth identified as Waseem, a resident of Happy Homes, Upperpally, was allegedly stabbed to death by two of his friends under the Rajendranagar Police Station limits.

According to preliminary information, Waseem and the accused had previously been booked in cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Police sources said the accused allegedly suspected Waseem of leaking information about their alleged drug-selling activities. An argument reportedly broke out between the friends, following which the two accused allegedly attacked Waseem with knives, causing fatal injuries.

Waseem succumbed to his injuries in the incident.

The Rajendranagar Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Police are also examining the circumstances surrounding the dispute and the alleged involvement of the accused.

Further details are awaited.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday conducted simultaneous searches at the residences of eight suspected benamis allegedly linked to suspended Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sankireddy Bheem Reddy in Hyderabad.
During the searches, ACB officials reportedly recovered ₹1.3 crore in cash from the residence of one of the suspected benamis.
The searches were carried out at Puppalaguda and other locations as part of the ongoing investigation into a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case against Bheem Reddy.
The ACB is continuing its investigation, and further details regarding the cash seizure, properties and other assets are awaited.
