On September 4, 2025, Tolichoki police station in Hyderabad cracked a case of theft of an important servant and arrested the accused, Shabia Begum, a 36-year-old housemaid. The accused had stolen approximately 30 tolas (300 grams) of gold ornaments worth ₹30,00,000 from the residence of Mir Shafi Ali Khan on August 20, 2025. The stolen items included a gold chain, a jugni and earrings, bangles, chains, diamond and pearl tops and multiple gold rings. The police recovered the stolen property, which was mortgaged with Om Jewellers and Manuppuram Finance Limited. The case was discovered under the supervision of Shri Syed Fiaz, ACP, Tolichowki Division and under the guidance of Shri G. Chandra Mohan, DCP, South West Zone. The crime team was headed by Shri L. Ramesh Nayak (SHO), Shri G. Balraj (Additional Inspector), and Shri G. Raghavendra (SIP).

PRESS NOTE

The Attapur Police & SOT Team are apprehended the accused persons (within 24 hours) who had stabbed the deceased, causing his death, at an open place beside Arshamahal Edga, 9 Number, Attapur, under the limits of Attapur Police Station.

Name of the accused persons: -

A-1: Mohammed Saifuddin @ Faizan S/o Mohammed Riyaz, Age 24, R/o. Dalmandi colony, Kishan bagh, N/o. Azampura, Azampura Market, Sahifa, Saidabad, Saidabad, Hyderabad.

A-2: Mohammed Zabi S/o Mohammed Baba Miyan, Age 19, R/o. Kishan Bagh, Bahadurpura, District: Hyderabad.

2) 1 FZ Two-wheeler

3) Two Cell Phones

Details of the Deceased:

Saif Ahmed Khan S/o Khurshid Ahmed Khan, Age: 23 yrs, R/o Kishan bagh, Bahadurpura, Hyderabad.

The deceased, Saif Ahmed Khan, was working as an A.C. Technician in Urban Clamp Company (Registered). The accused, A1 Mohammed Saifuddin @ Faizan and A2 Mohammed Zabi, were residing in the same locality and were well acquainted with the deceased. A1 had a previous enmity with the deceased as the deceased had allegedly abused A1's mother in filthy language and had beaten A1 about three months prior. Owing to this grudge, A1 developed enmity towards the deceased and hatched a plan to eliminate him. For this purpose, he sought the assistance of A2, who assured his support. In ex*****on of their plan, on 03.09.2025 between 0830 and 0900 hours, while the deceased was present at an open place near Edga, Arsha Mahal area, A1 and A2 arrived there on an FZ bike. They picked up a quarrel with the deceased, during which A2 stabbed the deceased on his stomach with a sharp knife he had brought along. Immediately thereafter, A1 took the knife from A2 and stabbed the deceased indiscriminately, causing multiple bleeding injuries on the chest, stomach, forearm of the left arm, and near the neck. The injured was shifted to Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad for treatment. However, on 03.09.2025 at about 23:52 hours, the deceased succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment.

The above arrest was made by Attapur Police Station and his team under the Supervision of Sri. Ch. Srinivas, IPS, DCP, Rajendranagar Zone, Sri. T. Srinivas, ACP Rajendranagar Division. The Good Work done is highly appreciable and will be rewarded suitably.

BUSTED ILLEGAL ONLINE BETTING GANG - HELD (08) PERSONS - SEIZED (18) CELL PHONES, (03) PASS-BOOKS, (13) ATM CARDS AND ONLINE AMOUNT RS. 29,81,000/-

The sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with SR Nagar Police apprehended eight persons gang who are playing prohibited online Khelo Games Betting by using online Apps i.e. 1) Khelostar, 2) Khelo24, 3) Kehlo Exchange, 4) Khelo Sports and 5) Win match with User IDs and Pass words. Total seized 18 mobile phones, 3 bank passbooks, 13 ATM cards, and an online monetary transaction amounting to Rs. 29,81,000/-.

Brief facts of the case:-
The main culprits Rajesh and Aslam, N/o Kareem Nagar came to Hyderabad to lead their lives by doing various professions. In Hyderabad they have formed a gang and indulging in illegal activities by using online betting applications. Accordingly, they have identified online Web Application i.e. KHELO GAME and providing the online Mobile Apps viz 1) Khelstar, 2) Khelo24, 3) Kheloexchange, 4) Khelosports and 5) Winmatch etc., and also providing user IDs and Passwords, mobile phones to the punters on commission basis. To play the game they are collecting Bank Accounts from the known innocent persons as the every User ID should have a bank account, so that, the winning amount would be credited in those bank accounts.

Furthermore, the main culprits have mingled with the above said accused persons who also came to Hyderabad from Jagitial and Peddapally Dist., to lead their lives by doing various professions. All are formed a gang and have been playing online betting by using online mobile applications on different IDs and earning easy money illegally. Till now identified total 235 IDs.

On the tip off information, the Commissioner's Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with SR Nagar Police apprehended the above said accused persons near Nagarjuna School, SR Nagar and seized the above said objects. The apprehended accused and seized material handed over to SHO SR Nagar PS for further investigation. The SR Nagar Police registered a case in Cr. No. 681/2025, U/s 3 & 4 TS Gaming Act and took up investigation.

The above arrests were made by Sri. S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, South Zone and SIs S/Sri Mohd Samiuz Zama, M. Mahesh, N. Naveen & Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with SR Nagar Police, Hyderabad.

Southzone Police Hold Flag March in ACP falaknuma Limits for Ganesh Security.

On the instructions of DCP South Zone, Sneha Mehra, IPS, a Flag March was conducted in the limits of ACP falaknuma limits ahead of the upcoming Ganesh Festival.

The Flag March was led by ACP Falaknuma Jaweed along ci Bahadurpura shakir ali , Ci Kalapather khaleel pasha , ci Falaknuma Aadi reddy with the CRPF team and local police staff.

The Flag March was carried out to instill a sense of security among the public and to ensure peace and harmony during the Ganesh festivities. Police officers interacted with the locals and appealed to them to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order.

The South Zone police emphasized that all necessary security arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth and safe Ganesh Festival in the falakuma , kalapathar , Bahadurpura area.
