The Sacred Ten: Making the Most of Dhul Hijjah
As the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah dawns, Muslims worldwide are presented with a unique opportunity to draw closer to Allah (SWT) and accumulate immense rewards. These first ten days are considered the most virtuous days of the year, even surpassing the days of Ramadan in some aspects. For those not performing Hajj, this period offers a profound chance for spiritual growth and abundant blessings.

1: Embracing the Blessings - What to Do in the Days of Dhul Hijjah
The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are a treasure trove of spiritual opportunities. Here's a guide to maximizing your worship during this blessed time:
1. Fasting, Especially on the Day of Arafah:
Fasting is among the most beloved deeds to Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "All the deeds of the son of Adam are for him, except fasting, which is for Me, and I shall reward for it." (Sahih al-Bukhari). While fasting the first nine days is highly recommended, special emphasis is placed on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, the Day of Arafah. Fasting on this day is said to expiate the sins of the previous year and the coming year.
2. Increase in Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah):
Fill your days and nights with the remembrance of Allah. This includes:
* Takbeer (Allahu Akbar - Allah is the Greatest): Recite this frequently, loudly, and even in public spaces.
* Tahleel (La ilaha illAllah - There is no god but Allah): Affirm the Oneness of Allah.
