The accused Panagudu Shiva Krishna is a native of Mothugudem(V), Chintur(M), Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) District, AP State and presently residing at Ottoor(V), Moongodu Post, Indriyam, Topil, Trivendrum Dist, Kerala State. He was recruited as Constable in the Central Industrial Security Force in the year of 2009 and later on deputation he went to National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). He came to known that high demand of G***a in across the states and due to his financial debts, he ventured into the illegal transportation of g***a on a commission basis. He allegedly procured large quantities of g***a from cultivators and supplied the contraband to interstate peddlers operating in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra States. Thus he obtained g***a from one cultivator who belongs to Orissa State. He subsequently transported and distributed the contraband to various drug peddlers across different states. While he was transporting the g***a, he misused his official position as a CISF Constable. Whenever his vehicle was intercepted at police check posts, he allegedly displayed his CISF identity card to evade inspection and avoid detection by law enforcement authorities.
It is pertinent to mention that the accused was previously arrested in the year 2025 by Dammapet Police Station, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, in connection with a case registered under the NDPS Act. Following his arrest, he was lodged in Khammam Jail and subsequently suspended from service. After releasing from Jail, he did not change his attitude and again transporting the G***a to peddlers. Despite facing criminal proceedings and suspension from his job, the accused allegedly continued his involvement in illicit drug trafficking after being released from jail. He resumed the transportation and supply of g***a to interstate peddlers, thereby continuing his unlawful activities.
