Hyderabad: In a heartbreaking incident that took place in Ghatkesar mandal of Medchal Malkajgiri district, a daughter along with her mother and lover killed her father just because he was obstructing her illicit relations. After the murder, the three accused went to watch the "second show" of the film and then put the body in a cab and threw it in a pond.

Ghatkesar Police Inspector P. Parshu Ram, DI Srinivas, Sub-Inspectors Shekhar and Sai Kumar gave these details in a press conference. The police received information on July 7 that a person's body was found in the Yadolabad pond of Ghatkesar mandal. A case of suspicious death was registered due to injury marks on the body.

The deceased was identified as Vidalur Lingam (45 years old), a resident of Mughal Basti in Kawariguda area of Hyderabad. His wife Sharda (40 years old) and daughter Manisha (25 years old) told the police that Lingam had a habit of drinking alcohol and often quarreled with people. They said that he had left home on July 6 and did not return.

The police became suspicious of their statements, after which the CCTV cameras installed near the pond were examined and the real truth came out. Lingam worked as a security guard in an apartment in the old city, while his wife Sharda is a cleaner in GHMC. They had two daughters.

The elder daughter Manisha was married but had established relations with her husband's friend Mohammad Javed (24 years old). When the husband came to know about this, he left Manisha.

After this, Manisha started living in a rented house in Maula Ali with her lover Javed. Lingam did not like the fact that his daughter was living with someone else, over which the father and daughter quarreled many times.

Sharda complained to her daughter that Lingam also suspected her and harassed her. Mother and daughter together made a plan to remove Lingam from the path.

On July 5, Manisha brought sleeping pills and gave them to her mother, which were mixed with alcohol and given to Lingam. When he fell into a deep sleep, Manisha, Javed and Sharda all three killed him by placing a pillow on his face.

After the murder, the three went to watch a second show movie. After the movie, a cab was booked. When the body was being kept in the car, the driver became suspicious. He said that he was drunk, that is why he was unconscious.

After getting off at the Yadolabad location, they threw the body into the pond. The police arrested the three accused and remanded them in judicial custody.

Father shoots daughter of state-level tennis player for making reels on Instagram

The life of a talented young player who dreamed of achieving success in the world of tennis came to a tragic end when her real father shot her dead. 25-year-old Radhika Yadav, who had won several medals at the state level, aimed to make the country famous at the national and international levels, but her dreams were shattered by her own father.

Radhika Yadav lived with her family in Gurugram's Sushant Lok Phase-1 area. According to the police, she often spent time on her smartphone, especially on Instagram, like ordinary teenage girls. It is being told that her father had forbidden her from making reels several times, but she did not stop. Out of anger, her father fired five bullets at his daughter on Thursday, killing her on the spot.

Radhika started playing tennis at a young age and won several state-level tournaments. She was soon preparing to compete at the national level, but tensions between the father and daughter were constantly rising over the use of social media.

The accused father has been arrested by the police after killing his daughter and the case is under investigation. The incident has left the local people and the sports community in deep shock. Everyone is expressing grief over the sudden and tragic end of this talented girl.

On 10.07.2025 AO Sri K.Y. Venu Gopal SI of Police, Women Police Station, Gachibowli, Cyberabad was caught by Telangana ACB, City Range-1 Unit when he demanded and accepted the bribe Rs 25,000/- from the complainant for showing official favour i.e. "to delete the name of complainant's mother name from the case in Cr.No 150/2025 u/s 85,352, 351 (2) BNS of WPS, Gachibowli, Cyberabad". The Accused Officer thereby performed his public duty improperly and dishonestly.

The bribe amount was recovered from the AO at his instance. Left hand fingers of AO yielded positive in chemical test.

AO Sri K.Y. Venu Gopal SI of Police, Women Police station, Gachibowli, Cyberabad is being arrested and sent to judicial remand. The Case is under investigation.

This cafe is Kapil Sharma's first step in the restaurant sector, in which his wife Ginni Chatrath is also participating. The opening ceremony of the cafe was held a few days ago.

In the video of the incident, a man sitting in a car can be seen shooting at the window of the cafe. Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Ladi has claimed responsibility for the shooting. It is being said that he was angry with a previous statement by Kapil Sharma after which he got the attack done.

Harjeet Singh Laddi is one of the most wanted terrorists by the National Investigation Agency of India and is associated with the Babbar Khalsa International. He is also wanted in the murder of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vikas Prabhakar alias Vikas Bagga, who was shot dead at his shop in Punjab's Rupnagar district in April 2024.

Police and forensic teams immediately reached the spot and investigation is underway.
