AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi delivered a powerful response to the potential demolition of Fatima Owaisi College, which he said provides free education to 40,000 students. “Shoot me with bullets, but don’t destroy my college,” Owaisi asserted.
Owaisi accused those behind the demolition plans of being envious of the success and beauty of the institution he built. “The skills I am imparting to the students are making others jealous,” he remarked, condemning what he perceives as attempts to hinder his efforts to uplift the underprivileged.
He further challenged his adversaries, stating, “If someone has enmity with me, come and finish me with swords and guns. But don’t try to stop my good work.” Owaisi, who has previously survived multiple attacks, made it clear that he would not retreat from his mission, even at the risk of personal harm.
“Pierce my body with swords, but do not destroy the good work,” he implored, adding, “As I am requesting, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have the power to fight with enemies. I have been attacked and have all the wounds on my front side. Akbaruddin Owaisi is not a person who will show his back to the enemies.”
