ONE PROPERTY OFFENDER HAS BEEN NABBED BY MIRCHOWK POLICE SEIZED CASH OF Rs. 14,50,000/- IN Cr. No. 29/2024 U/S 457,381 IPC.
On 08-02-2024, the Crime staff of Mirchowk Police Station apprehended one Property offender by name Punpun Doley S/o Late Kakati Doley, Age: 23 yrs, Occ: Daily wage worker at Zam Zam Fastners, Noorkhan Bazar, R/o: Pent House situated at 5th floor of Zam Zam Fastners, Noorkhan Bazar, Hyderabad.
NAME OF THE ACCUSED PERSON:
Punpun Doley S/o Late Kakati Doley, Age: 23 yrs, Oce: Daily wage worker at Zam Zam Fastners, Noorkhan Bazar R/o Pent House situated at 5th floor of Zam Zam Fastners, Noorkhan Bazar, Hyderabad (No Kulamua, Kamala Baria, Lakhimpur, Assam State).
SEIZED PROPERTY:
1) Cash Rs. 14,50,000/-(Fourteen Lakhs and Fifty thousand)
2) One Iron Bar of length 2.5 Feet from scene of offence)
BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:
On 07-02-2024 at 19.30 hours received a complaint from Sri Mohd Ahmed Hussain S/o Abdul Lateef, age: 31 years, Occ: Business, R/o: H.No. 16-9-760/A, Near water tank, Old Malakpet, Hyderabad wherein he stated that he has been running the business of tractor spare parts shop titled Zam Zam Fastners, Situated at Sultanpura, Noorkhan Bazar, Hyderabad. As usually, on
06-02-2024 at about 21.20 hours he closed his shop and went to his house.
On 07-02-2024 in the morning hours when he opened his shop and noticed that someone has committed theft of Rs. 14,50,000/- from the cash counter.
The complainant suspected that one of his worker by name Punpun might have committed the theft of the said amount by breaking the locks of grill and gate of the said shop. Basing on the compliant a case has been registered and investigated into.
During the course of the investigation, On 08-02-2024 while making efforts on credible information Police Mirchowk apprehended the accused person Punpun Doley at at Chiragpally, Zaheerabad District and recovered the stolen property of Rs. 14,50,000/-(fourteen lakhs and fifty thousand). In the absence of the complainant On 07-02-2024 at about 02.30 hours accused Punpun Doley took one Iron bar and came to ground floor from the pent house and broke open the lock of grill with the Iron bar and lifted the shutter, entered into the office room and broke the main counter table upper drawer and took cash of Rs. 14,50,000/- from drawer and place in his bag (Back pack) and fed away by breaking lock of small exit gate. From the last six months the accused Punpun Doley has been working as a daily wage worker at Zam Zam Fastners, Noorkhan Bazar, Hyd and staying in the pent house of the same shop. The accused never disclosed his whereabouts and details of his family members to the complainant. The accused has been noticing the complainant's daily routine work and the shop's office area where the complainant keeps business amount. As such he hatched a plan to commit the theft and fed away to his native place thinking that since the complainant does not know the details of the accused and accused family member's details and no chance of catching him. Further the accused planned to spend the theft amount for lavish things.
