Interesting, Thought provoking, Fun filled….just some of the things that come to mind when you read “Brainfeed” an exclusive student’s monthly English magazine. The Brainfeed Magazine has been founded by Mr. Brahmam with a greater aim of developing children’s journalism In India and at the same time giving students a platform to read, write and share their voices. Nearly half of India’s population

is under the age of 25. Hence, there is a growing need to cater to their needs. With the Internet entering their lives, we must understand their changing requirements and address their concerns. The Brainfeed Magazine is an endeavour towards giving the student fraternity a good exposure of the dynamic world outside and at the same time becoming a voice of their own. Learning comes through interaction and ‘Brainfeed Magazine’ brings all students together to share their voices. The topics in the magazine ranges from career, travel, food, books, fine arts, science, history interviews of famous personalities, Skills and much more. The magazine supplies along with it an Academic Supplement on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology besides English and General Knowledge as a separate pullout. It is undoubtedly helpful for the students who prepare for competitive examinations. The magazine mainly aims at inculcating the habit of reading in the minds of students who are slowly drifting away from this noble habit. Creating scientific temperament in children is another aim of the magazine. Teacher training, academic audit, subject-wise worksheet and workshop for school heads would be conducted regularly under the aegis of the magazine for better academic atmosphere. Thus, creation of an altogether different environment congenial to quality education in which teachers and the taught are the main players would be the buzz for the magazine.
