As part of the Vinayaka Chavithi Navratri celebrations, a food distribution program was organized in Gudimalkapur Mahesh Nagar Colony on a grand scale. Along with the people of Kalani, people from surrounding areas participated in this food distribution program and received the food distribution. Karwan constituency BJP in-charge Karwan Darbar Maisamma Temple Committee Chairman Thakur Amar Singh inaugurated the food distribution program after performing special pujas. Goshamahal constituency MLA T Raja Singh inaugurated the food distribution program after performing special pujas at the Vinayaka Mandapam. After that, MLA Raja Singh and Tagore Amar Singh spoke separately and said that the Vinayaka Mandapams set up during the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations should host programs that reflect Indian culture and tradition. He said that it is commendable that a Vinayaka Mandapam has been set up in Mahesh Nagar Colony for some years and that special cultural programs have been organized.
