Negligence of Government Hospital Staff: Man Kept Overnight in Mortuary While Still Alive.

In a shocking incident in Mahabubabad district, a man who was still alive was kept overnight in the mortuary of the district government hospital due to the negligence of hospital staff.

According to reports, Raju, a taxi driver from Bayyaram village in Chinnagudur mandal, was admitted to the district government hospital three days ago after falling ill. As he had no attendants with him, the hospital staff allegedly refused to admit him.

Later, seeing him lying unconscious in the hospital premises, the staff mistakenly assumed he was dead and moved his body to the mortuary.

The next morning, while cleaning the mortuary, a sweeper noticed that Raju was still alive and immediately alerted the hospital authorities.

Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted Raju to the Area Medical Center (AMC) for further treatment.

Local residents have strongly condemned the incident, alleging that **frequent negligence and lack of supervision by higher authorities** have been causing repeated problems in the hospital.

Hearing the woman’s screams, locals rushed to the spot, chased the thief, and managed to catch him. The residents then beat him up before handing him over to the police.
