A herd of elephants that migrated from Chhattisgarh has been spotted about 80 kilometres from the Maharashtra–Telangana border, triggering concern among residents of nearby border villages.

Forest officials from Telangana, in coordination with their counterparts in Maharashtra, are closely monitoring the movement of the elephants. Authorities stated that the herd is currently not heading towards Telangana, but precautionary measures are being taken to track its movements.

Car Plunges Into Well While Occupants Watch IPL Final on Mobile; One Dead.

Jagtial, Telangana: A tragic road accident occurred near Morapelli village in Jagtial Rural mandal after three youths reportedly watched the IPL final match on a mobile phone while traveling in a Thar SUV.

According to reports, the vehicle, carrying Nivesh, Ashwin, and Arun, went out of control and plunged into a roadside well. Arun, a resident of Jagtial who was driving the vehicle, drowned in the well and died on the spot.

The other two occupants, Nivesh and Ashwin, managed to escape safely. Police and rescue personnel conducted a rescue operation for nearly two hours before recovering Arun’s body and retrieving the vehicle from the well.

Authorities are investigating the incident, which has raised concerns about distracted driving and the dangers of using mobile phones while operating a vehicle.

Massive Rush of Pilgrims Causes Heavy Congestion on Char Dham Yatra Routes.

With thousands of devotees flocking to the Char Dham Yatra, the routes leading to the holy shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath are witnessing severe overcrowding. The Kedarnath trekking route is reportedly so packed that pilgrims are finding it difficult even to take a step forward.

Meanwhile, on the road to Badrinath, traffic has come to a standstill near Joshimath, with vehicles stranded in queues stretching approximately 25–30 kilometers. Pilgrims are being forced to spend several hours inside their vehicles due to the massive traffic congestion.

Locals Thrash Nepali Youths for Misbehaving with Woman in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed near the CCS office at Basheer Bagh after a group of Nepali youths allegedly misbehaved with a young woman who was walking alone in the area.

According to reports, the accused youths allegedly caught hold of the woman’s hand, dragged her, and behaved indecently with her in public. Hearing the woman’s screams, local residents rushed to the spot, detained the accused, and assaulted them before handing them over to the police.

The accused were identified as Sunil, Umesh, Laxman, Purushottam, and Ram Neupane, all reportedly working at a local fast-food centre in the area.

Abids police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.

Friend Allegedly Drowns Teen in Swimming Pool Over Old Rivalry in Uttar Pradesh

A shocking incident has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal, where an 18-year-old youth was allegedly murdered by his own friend inside a swimming pool.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Sohail (18), had gone swimming with a group of friends when the incident occurred. Police suspect that the accused attacked him due to an old personal rivalry.

The accused allegedly grabbed Sohail with both hands and forcefully held him underwater. Despite the victim struggling for breath and attempting to escape, the attacker reportedly did not release him and kept him submerged for nearly two minutes, leading to his death by drowning.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced online and is currently going viral on social media. Authorities are investigating the case.
