Elephant Movement Reported Near Telangana Border; Officials Urge Vigilance.
A herd of elephants that migrated from Chhattisgarh has been spotted about 80 kilometres from the Maharashtra–Telangana border, triggering concern among residents of nearby border villages.
Forest officials from Telangana, in coordination with their counterparts in Maharashtra, are closely monitoring the movement of the elephants. Authorities stated that the herd is currently not heading towards Telangana, but precautionary measures are being taken to track its movements.
Officials have advised people living in border areas to remain alert and report any unusual wildlife activity to the forest department.
