Special Drive Against Unauthorized Sirens

As per the instructions of senior officers, a special drive was conducted today under the supervision of Shri Chandra Kumar, ACP Traffic South East, along with Inspector Mohammed Asif, SIs, and traffic staff at near Saibaba temple Champapet .

The drive focused on detecting unauthorized sirens and multi-tone sirens being used by vehicles in violation of traffic norms. During the operation, three unauthorized sirens were seized, and challans were imposed on the concerned vehicles.

This initiative aims to ensure public safety and reduce noise pollution on city roads.

Snapchat Trap: Minor Girl Lured into Cohabitation in Hyderabad

A disturbing incident has come to light from Medipally, on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Due to childlessness, a woman had earlier given her daughter up for adoption to her sister and brother-in-law. However, tragedy struck last year when the adoptive mother passed away due to illness, and the adoptive father became bedridden.

With no one else to support him, the minor girl dropped out of school and stayed home to care for her ailing father.

During this vulnerable period, the girl came in contact with a young man named Raviteja through Snapchat. Exploiting her situation, he manipulated and lured her. He had allegedly been cohabiting with her at her home for the past two months.

The girl’s biological mother, upon discovering the situation, immediately approached the Medipally police.

A POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case has been registered against Raviteja, and he has been taken into custody.
