COMMISSIONER’S TASK FORCE, SOUTH-EAST ZONE TEAM - APPREHENDED (02) PERSONS – SEIZED (423) VIALS OF MEPHENTERMINE sulphate INJECTIONS, (02) TWO WHEELERS, (02) MOBILE PHONES AND THE NE CASH OF RS. 9,430/-. TOTAL WORTH OF RS. 5,00,000/- APPROX

On 11-07-2025, on a tip of information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South East Zone team, Hyderabad along with the Chatrinaka Police apprehended (02) persons who are illegally procuring and selling of Mephentermine Sulphate Injections and seized (423) vials of Mephentermine Sulphate Injections, (02) two wheelers, (02) Mobile Phones and the net cash of Rs. 9,430/-from their possession. Total worth of property of Rs. 5,00,000/- approx.

Accused Particulars: -
1) Mohammed Zuber @ Zubair S/o Mohd Khaja Moinuddin Late, Age 30 years, Occ: Modelling, R/o Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Nawabsabkunta, Falaknuma, Hyderabad

2) Veludandi Vinay Kumar, S/o Rama Chandraiah Late, Age: 43 years, Occ: Medical Distribution Business, R/o RTC Colony, Chengicherla, RR Dist.

Seized Property: -
1) Mephentermine Sulphate Injection Vials - 423
2) Two wheelers – 02
3) Mobile Phones – 02
4) Net cash of Rs. 9,430/-
(Total W/o Rs. 5,00,000/- approx.)

Facts of the Case:-
The accused persons are procuring Injections i.e., Mephentermine Sulphate Injections, which they sell to the needy clients at higher rates without any valid license and without doctor’s prescription from the concerned authorities and earning easy money through illegal ways by cheating innocent public. On further enquiry it is revealed that Mohammed Zubair addicted to Mephentermine Sulphate Injection and buys these injections from Vinay Kumar and he purchases from Kapil Gautam R/o Meerut, U.P and supplies to innocent public and selling these injections illegally to customers, especially youth and gym-goers, under the false pretext that they rapidly enhance body growth.

The above arrest was made under the supervision of, S. Saidababu, Inspector of Police, South East Zone Taskforce by SI’s Sri K. Rama Rao, M. Madhu of South-East Zone Task Force and PC Sri T. Prashanth along with the team of South-East Zone Task Force along with the staff of Chatrinaka PS.

P. Jagadesh Babu, Assistant Engineer (PR), Eligedu Mandal, I/c of Kalvasrirampur & Odela Mandals, O/o the Dy. Executive Engineer, Panchayath Raj dept., Peddapalli Sub-Division & District was caught by Telangana officials for demanding of Rs.1,00,000/- and accepting Rs.90,000/- from the complainant "To record the CC road work executed by the complainant in the Measurement Book and forward the same to the Dy. Executive Engineer of Peddapalli Sub division."

Gulzar Houz fire tragedy: Telangana govt sanctions Rs 85 lakh ex-gratia for kin of 17 victims
Officials confirmed that additional support measures are being planned for survivors and dependents of the deceased
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 85 lakh as ex-gratia for the families of 17 members of an extended family, including eight children, killed near Gulzar Houz, Charminar, on May 18 in one of Hyderabad’s worst residential fire tragedies.

Government releases relief fund

According to an official memo issued by the Revenue (CMRF) Department on Thursday, Rs 85 lakh has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The cheque has been issued to the Hyderabad district collector to disburse financial assistance to the bereaved families.

“The district collector, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action accordingly and acknowledge receipt of the cheque, besides sending a compliance report to the government,” the memo stated.

Dr. Mohd Khasim, the AIMIM Corporator for Vijay Nagar Colony Division, inspected ongoing development projects in his Division, as directed by AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and Nampally MLA Majid Hussain. The inspection covered various areas, including Taj Nagar, Anjuman, Safdaria School, and Shantinagar, where VDCC Roads worth ₹1.3 crore are being carried out Dr. Khasim was accompanied by GHMC and HMWSSB officials.

During the inspection, Dr. Khasim interacted with local residents, listened to their concerns, and assured them of prompt resolution. He also inspected the development of parks worth ₹98 lakhs and the beautification and electrical works of the Vijaynagar Colony sporting complex, valued at ₹45 lakhs. The total value of the ongoing projects inspected was ₹2.3 crore.

The inspection aimed to ensure the timely completion and quality of the projects. Dr. Khasim was accompanied by active leaders of the AIMIM party from Vijay Nagar Colony.
