In a momentous event, Thuingaleng Muivah, the Ato Kilonser of the NSCN/GPRN (National Socialist Council of Nagalim/Government of the Peopleโ€™s Republic of Nagalim), made his long-awaited return to his native Ukhrul, Manipur on October 22, 2025, after more than five decades.

Muivah arrived from Dimapur via chopper, landing at Bakshi Ground, Hungpung, where a massive crowd gathered to welcome the veteran Naga leader. The historic visit holds deep emotional and political significance for the Naga people and the broader region of Northeast India.
