As the Heikru Hidongba festival approaches, the Thangapat has been successfully cleaned by the volunteers of Arambai Tenggol. A contribution of ₹1 lakh was extended to the Sevayat Committee by Shri MLA RK Imo Singh in appreciation of the voluntary efforts.
Support from Ward Corporator Shri Rk Jiten Singh & the Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC) was also extended to ensure proper disposal of the waste removed.

This sharp decline in their share of the population is not just a number but a warning signal about the future of the indigenous majority in their own land.

Meanwhile, categories like "Unclassified Scheduled Tribes" and "Any Kuki" have shown sudden, disproportionate growth. These vaguely defined groups raise serious concerns about manipulation of records, unchecked migration, and loopholes in policy. If this trend continues, the Meiteis may soon become strangers in their own homeland.
