Ingredients :
Ailment Treated:Leaf decoction is used in flatulence, constipation and indigestion. Fresh leaf paste is good for local application in snake bites and stings of poisonous insects. Decoction is used in muscular pain and rheumatic swelling.

Lam-thabi [ꯂꯝ ꯊꯕꯤ লম থবী] in the Manipuri language is the name of a plant identified with Zehneria bodinieri (H.Lév.) W.J.de Wilde & Duyfjes from the Cucurbitaceae (Pumpkin) family having the following synonyms: Melothria bodinieri, Pilogyne bodinieri . For the possible medicinal usage of lam-thabi, you can check this page for potential sources and references, although be aware that any some or none of the side-effects may not be mentioned here, wether they be harmful or beneficial to health. Lam Thabi has very limited medicinal uses. The boiled soup of this plant is regarded as one of the best medicine for the treatment of Jaundice.

Ailment Treated:The extract of leaf is used in cough and fever. Fresh bark and seed juice is used in diabetes. Seed is used in diarrhoea and excessive menstrual discharge.
