The greatest truth in the world is death. Everyone knows it, yet in the rush of daily life, we tend to forget.
A simple person spent life in small acts of kindness: helping others, listening, and giving without seeking attention. They didn’t leave wealth behind, but they left time, respect, and good deeds.
When the time came, they faced it with peace, not fear. Death is not something to dread—it’s a journey. What remains after us, in the form of love and goodness, is our true legacy.
When they were gone, people remembered not the big words, but the small, meaningful acts. Life’s real value is hidden in these everyday gestures.
So today, if we make someone’s morning easier or return a smile, these little things are our true treasures.

In a small town, people often said the same thing again and again –
“From tomorrow, I will start praying.”
“From tomorrow, I will leave my bad habits.”
“From tomorrow, I will bow before Allah.”

Everyone kept postponing their duties by taking the name of tomorrow.
But that tomorrow never came.

In that town lived an old wise man. His face was always peaceful, and his heart was always filled with the remembrance of Allah. People asked him –
“Baba, how do you manage to worship every single day? Don’t you ever feel tired?”

The old man smiled and replied –
“My child, I never trust tomorrow. I only treat today as my last day on earth, so I bow before Allah now. Who knows if we will even live to see tomorrow?”

One day, a young man in the town suddenly fell sick and died within hours. His friends cried and said –
“He always used to say, ‘From tomorrow, I will start praying… tomorrow, I will repent.’ But his tomorrow never came.”

The old man sighed and explained to everyone –
“Look, death never waits for tomorrow. If you want to bow before Allah, do it today. If you want to repent, repent in this very moment. Tomorrow is just an excuse – the truth is only today.”

From that day on, many people in the town understood that prayer and good deeds must never be delayed.
