On the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2025, the Thai army launched an attack on the Cambodian army positions at Prasat Ta Moan Thom and Prasat Ta Krabey in Oddar Meanchey province and expanded the geographical area of the attack to the Mom Tei area. Cambodia has always maintained a position of peaceful resolution of problems, but in this case, we have no choice but to respond with armed force against armed aggression. The Royal Government of Cambodia, relevant ministries, institutions, provincial administrations, especially the Cambodian Armed Forces, have been working actively and courageously to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity and the supreme interests of our nation on both the military and diplomatic fronts, as well as to assist our citizens affected by the current Thai army aggression. May all Cambodian citizens trust in the Royal Government and our armed forces who are standing on the front lines to protect our territorial integrity.
