Hosting some truly amazing HR Leaders as a moderator at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya Indore was a beautiful reminder of something I deeply believe in - sometimes, we donβt need more theories. We just need to go back to basics.
Every leader came from a different industry, carried years of experience, and had a completely different journey.
Yet, the message was surprisingly simple:
Learn.
Listen.
Communicate.
Stay curious.
Take ownership.
Build relationships.
Keep learning.
No complicated frameworks.
No fancy corporate jargon.
Most important - Stay connected with Values
Just real experiences, real failures, and lessons that students can actually take back with them.
And thatβs what made this conversation so special for me.
As a moderator, I wasnβt there only to ask questions. I was there to learn too. Every answer gave me a new perspective, and every leader brought something different to the conversation.
And when you see students listening, questioning, thinking and connecting with these experiences, thatβs when you realise β this is bigger than a panel discussion.
If we can simplify our experiences enough to help even one student make a better career decision, the conversation was worth having. β€οΈ
Sometimes, the future doesnβt need more complexity.
It simply needs us to get the basics right.
