These are not just pictures.... Together, they are a story. A story about power, a story about pride, a story about gluttony, a story about the evil in all of us. Our very special creation "Khichik".

Part 1

Two guys just go off the grid to spend a day with mother nature, without the noises or the notifications of the world troubling them or taking away their lives with continuous distraction and disturbance.

The second series came to mind when we went off the grid after some tedious work weeks. I have always had a fascination towards living within the nature. This shoot felt like an excuse to go back to those trees, the mountains, the water, the unexplored.
Also, i think it was important as a team for us to test ourselves. We had to travel for an hour to the location from where after parking your vehicles, you gotta trek for 5kms down the mountain to reach the fall where we would be first setting up the tent and then start shooting. 12 crew members hiked with backpacks loaded with tents, equipments, gear, food, cooking essentials along with lots of water bottles. The trek itself tests you in ways. Sometimes it gets steep like a roller coaster where you can't hold youself and fall. Almost all of us did. but almost all of us helped each other one time or the other.

Part 2

Team work was a lesson learnt on the way down. Where some were busy setting up the tents others went to find the best locations for the shoot. Everyone got to work instantly, it did not even feel like we had hiked down for an hour and a half.
These two beautiful actors of our were the ones who suffered the most, they had to look good, carry those bags, make food, which everyone ate but them, But I think it all paid off at the end.
Our Director who we call magician was on her feet being the anchor for all of us, reminding everyone that we were here for a purpose and not to get lost in the scenery. She made sure that everything gets done before the sun rises. Also, she hiked down and then up which would be a total of around 11 kms with an injured knee, a ligament injury and migraine.
We were fortunately or unfortunately blessed with rain, sun, heat, cold, all at once. It was one hell of an experience.

Part 3

After shooting for 6 hours straight when we were hiking back up, the mountain felt like never ending and at the moment when it felt like the body is running on fumes and there is no life left in us. God sent rain and what a rainfall it was. I do not think anyone of us had experienced a more beautiful rain than this. With it, it brought I think the energy which we needed to complete the remaining trek and much more.
It also felt like god blessing us and saying that whatever we were doing was right. It surely felt like that.
I Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed shooting them. Also, if you feel like going to the wild, comment here and I think that would prove that we hit it out of the park and were successful in what we set out to achieve.

Agraj Mishra

"One Day"
Just like every story ever, has started with these two words, so would this.
One Day, while we were looking for something to create, that would be short, creative as well as something that would help us practice and get ready for shorts and features, we bumped upon this.
The generation to this idea started when we were about to shoot a movie and were in a fix that we do not have a clear roadmap to that i.e.., the storyboard. The first conclusion was to hire a storyboard artist, but either we didn't work hard to find one or were not able to.
Although during the process of this project, one of us turned out to be a great storyboard artist but more on that later.
While we were researching on storyboards we saw a couple of them and something clicked.
It was as if the storyboard consists of everything but the dialogues. And what a movie is actually - "a series of pictures put rapidly on screen which basically becomes a motion picture".
(A storyboard has one image drawn which would give the creators an idea of a scene as to how it could be shot.)
So one day, with this in mind and traffic in front of us, watching a cop failing to control it despite his best efforts we came up with this story.
This story describes the day to day life of the person whose task is to control and manage the ever increasing number of people and vehicles on the road.
When we studied more about them, the life they live, the money they get paid, the hours they have to work, the struggle they face everyday, The whole experience was both humane and extremely humbling.
On the day of the shoot, we met a couple of cops as well, who became a guiding source for us as well as the actor.
When we told them what we were planning to make, we saw extreme happiness on their faces. One of them blessed us while narrating his struggles to raise his children and family.
With those blessing in our hearts, Today, we put out this project in front of you. This is a collection of 30 pictures clicked, divided into 3 parts where each tells a tale and put together completes a story.
With love,
