𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙠𝙠𝙚 𝙆𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 - 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 17, 2024

A) District Police Pakke Kessang conducted a successful operation resulting in the seizure of Rs 12 lakhs from two individuals at Khodaso Naka Check Point.

B) Additionally, two unlicensed 12 Bore SBBL guns were confiscated at Seijosa NEC Naka Point.

C) Furthermore, an additional amount of Rs 3,50,000 was seized at Khodaso Naka Point.

Rs 15,50,000 to date.

Intensive naka checking operations are ongoing 24x7 across the district.

The team operating in Seijosa Sub Division, under the leadership of SDPO Seijosa Sachi Dore, and the team in Pakke Kessang, led by SI Nyato Sora, OC PS Pakke Kessang, are actively involved in these efforts.

All cash seizures were conducted in the presence of the Magistrate and Nodal Officer of the Election Expenditure Monitoring Team.

Ziro Police seizes Rs 59 Lakhs in cash during routine check

During a routine checkpoint at the Pine Groove area, the Ziro Police made a significant discovery, seizing a substantial sum of Rs 59,20,000 (59 Lakhs and 20 thousand) in cash.

The cash was found concealed in a grey journey bag inside a Scorpio vehicle stopped for inspection. Identified as belonging to Shri Boa Terry of Boa Shimla, Kamle, the vehicle was reportedly en route from Ziro to Kamle district.

Legal procedures were meticulously followed in the presence of an executive magistrate throughout the operation.

SUPREME COURT GRANTS BAIL TO TAKET JERANG PRIME ACCUSED IN APPSC PAPER LEAKAGE CASE

Grounds for granting bail under Special leave to Appeal (Criminal).

1. On perusal of the records, it is found that 7 out of 10 accused are already enlarged on bail.

2. As far as apprehension of prosecution regarding hampering or tempering with evidence or influencing witnesses by the accused person, it can be taken care of by imposing stringent terms and conditions.

3. Further, the accused person had already incarcerated in custody for over a year and no charges had been framed by the trial court.

As per the legal counsel of the accused, bail is granted till completion of trial.

12 Oct 2023|Itanagar: A tragic derailment of six coaches from the North East Express occurred in Buxar,Bihar during its journey from Delhi's Anand Vihar Terminal to Assam's Kamakhya. The incident which took place near Raghunathpur Station around 9.35 Pm has led to fear of at least four casualties and several injuries.Rescue team have been dispatched and Railways have issued helpline numbers for assistance.The injured passengers are recieving urgent medical attention as situation unfolds.

Today around 4 pm a building that was under construction, and a wall collapsed from the 3rd floor of the building at Zero Point Itanagar.

6 vehicles have been damaged and initially, a boy was injured he was rushed To the Hemma hospital. 1 causality was reported.
The boy is named Mai Agu from Yachuli, Lower Subansiri.

The owner of the building has been taken under custody by the women's police station Itanagar.
The investigation is ongoing.
