Kra Daadi ANYA President Jyoti Taku has said that the association has been working to expose the alleged ₹183.13 crore corruption in the Fisheries Department since last year.

He claimed that 7R Society Chairman is trying to hijack the issue. Taku said ANYA has already collected information and is committed to bringing the facts before the public.

He appealed to everyone to allow ANYA to continue its work. According to him, the association will expose any officer or person found involved in the alleged corruption through proper investigation.

People from Rite,Yarpu and Sangchar gram segment have raised concern regarding onine system under MGNREGA and the viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika mission (gramin) (VB-G), as many rural area continue to face poor network connectivity issues.
According to local residents,elderly people and villagers are facing serious difficulties in accessing and completing online procedures due to weak internet service. Beneficiaries reportedly struggle with digital verification and other online formalities in remote areas where proper connectivity is still lacking.
The public has urged the concerned authorities to address these challenges at the earliest and make the system more convenient,accessible and people-friendly for rural communities

A major concern has been raised over the transfer of the Frontier Highway stretch under NH-913 from the PWD to the BRO. Addressing the media, AATSU President Techi Baba and General Secretary Lika Doke opposed the decision and submitted a formal representation against the takeover.

The union stated that handing over the project to BRO could affect local participation, employment opportunities, and the role of state agencies in developmental works. They emphasized that the Frontier Highway is not only strategically important but also vital for connecting remote tribal regions and boosting socio-economic growth.

AATSU demanded priority for indigenous contractors, engineers, skilled workers, and local youths in infrastructure projects within Arunachal Pradesh. The organisation further appealed to the State Government and the Centre to reconsider the decision and ensure inclusive participation of local stakeholders while carrying forward border infrastructure development.

Watch~ On 27/05/2026, the team of PVK News along with Shri Chera Hullu, Reporter, conducted a ground reality inspection regarding the “New Helipad Ground Project” located at Malapu near Circuit House, Koloriang under Kurung Kumey District.

During the site verification, the team found that no official construction work has been started till date at the project location.

According to available project details, the total sanctioned amount for the project is ₹5 Crore under the PWD Department. Out of the total amount, the Government has already released the 1st installment of ₹1.90 Crore, while the remaining amount of ₹3.10 Crore is yet to be released.

It is also reported that the official sanctioned fund order for the project was issued on 06 January 2025. However, despite the release of the first installment, there is still no visible progress or development work at the site.

The major question now raised by the public is — why has the project work not started yet even after the release of government funds?
