Arunachal Pradesh Police IGP Chukhu Apa has cautioned the bandh callers against taking the law into their own hands, stating that any unlawful activity will invite strict legal action.
Addressing the media at the Police Headquarters in Itanagar, he said that detailed security arrangements have been put in place for the 12-hour Capital Bandh announced by the three organisations.

APIYO Announces 12-Hour Capital Bandh Over Alleged Illegal Masjid Dispute

Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Indigenous Youth Organization (APIYO), led by Chairman Tapor Maying and General Secretary, has declared a 12-hour Capital Bandh for tomorrow, protesting the government’s delay in resolving the alleged illegal Masjid matter.

Addressing the media, APIYO leaders said the administration has shown little response despite multiple requests, leaving them with no choice but to call the bandh as a form of public pressure.

The organisation also cautioned that if the issue continues to remain unresolved, the agitation could be extended for another 2–3 days. APIYO urged residents to cooperate with the bandh and prepare essential supplies in advance to avoid difficulties.
