Heavy Rainfall Exposes Drainage Issues as ISBT Lekhi Faces Waterlogging

ITANAGAR: Continuous heavy rainfall has led to severe waterlogging in the SBT Lekhi area, causing inconvenience to residents and commuters.

Locals allege that the lack of a proper drainage system is one of the main reasons behind the flooding, with rainwater accumulating on roads and in nearby areas.

Residents have expressed concern over recurring waterlogging during the monsoon season, stating that inadequate drainage infrastructure has made the situation worse. Many have urged the concerned authorities to take immediate measures to improve the drainage system and prevent similar incidents in the future.

The waterlogging has disrupted normal movement in the area, highlighting the need for long-term solutions to address drainage and urban flood management issues in ISBT Lekhi.
