Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress Holds Aakrosh Dharna Demanding Justice for Bengia Ama Gora

The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) today staged an Aakrosh Dharna at TRIHMS, Naharlagun, demanding justice for Bengia Ama Gora. The protestors alleged gross negligence on the part of medical authorities and sought immediate action.

Addressing the gathering, APYC leaders called for the suspension of the doctor and staff involved, while stressing the need for a time-bound investigation. They also demanded exemplary punishment for those found guilty and pressed for a complete ban on government doctors engaging in private practice.

The Youth Congress warned that the matter cannot be brushed aside and asserted that the fight for justice would continue until accountability is fixed and action is taken against those responsible.

22-Year-Old Mother Dies Post C-Section at TRIHMS; Negligence Alleged

A 22-year-old mother, Bengia Ama Gora, who underwent a C-section surgery on Sept 2 and was kept in ICU since then, died today at TRIHMS Naharlagun. The family claims it was due to doctor’s negligence.

An FIR has been filed, and the relatives have declared they will not take the body from the ICU until justice is delivered and authorities act against those responsible.
