After repeatedly submitting complaints and evidence to the authorities, no corrective action has been taken so far. Therefore, the Association is compelled to issue a 7-day ultimatum to the Chief Secretary, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, demanding immediate intervention.

1. Immediate re-verification of Compensation Package (Package 1โ€“5) of the Ladaโ€“Sarli Frontier Highway.
2. Immediate suspension of officials involved in the alleged mismanagement:
โ€ข Deputy Commissioner (DC)
โ€ข DLRSO
โ€ข DFO
โ€ข DHO
โ€ข DAO
3. Speedy investigation and arrest of the accused, as the Association has already submitted an FIR to the competent authority.
4. Recovery of misused/embezzled public funds, and strict accountability of all officers involved.

If the Government fails to initiate action within 7 days, ANYA EKDU will be compelled to launch democratic and peaceful agitation as per the law.

ANYA EKDU stands firmly for transparency, justice, and protection of public interest. We demand that the Government uphold fairness and ensure that compensation meant for genuine beneficiaries is not diverted or misused.

Supporters Rally Behind Takam Rupok, Urge Party to Allot Ticket for Dumporijo Constituency

Tezu | 1 Nov 2025: DLR&SO Lohit, Shri Shivam Tripathi, has dismissed the allegations made by Advocate C.W. Mantaw as โ€œbaseless and misleading.โ€ The DLR&SO presented final approvals from higher authorities, stating that all assessments related to the 132/33 kV transmission line project were carried out only after obtaining due clearance from the competent authorities. He further questioned the intent of the complainant, noting that the advocate never approached the Office for clarification but directly filed a case in personal capacity of Officers before the CJM, Lohit, without verifying the facts.

Tezu | 1 Nov 2025: DFO Lohit Refutes Allegations, Shows Final Approval from MoEF&CC (132 & 33 KV Transmission Line):

DFO Lohit, Tobang Pertin, in a press briefing today, strongly denied allegations related to the Tezuโ€“Wakro power line project, presenting the final approvals and clearances from the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) to substantiate the departmentโ€™s actions. He termed the accusations as โ€œcompletely baseless and misleading.โ€ Pertin further clarified that the compensation aspect in any district falls under the purview of the Deputy Commissioner and the DLRSO, not the Forest Department. The clarification comes after a complaint filed by Jaliya Tayang against the DC, DLRSO, and the DFO Lohit, alleging that work had commenced without obtaining prior approval from the Ministry.
