The All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) announced on Monday that President Lezen Gyadi has formally dismissed three central executives for repeated indiscipline. In an official termination notice issued by Gyadi, Tarh Ama (Women Affairs Convenor), Mangkam Rimo (Co-Convenor) and Lindum Yalap (Assistant Secretary, Women Affairs) were relieved of their posts. The notice (dated Dec 1, 2025) explicitly cites Point No. 3 as the key reason – namely a “repeated breach of discipline and failure to fulfill ANSU responsibilities”

According to ANSU officials, the decision follows a formal show-cause process triggered by the trio’s unexplained absences from recent Collegiate Executive Meetings (CEMs). The members were accused of skipping critical CEM sessions on 3rd, 4th and 15th September 2025, in violation of their constitutional duties.

The show-cause notice charged that the absences impeded union business and flouted the obligations of their elected offices. In effect, the union found that by repeatedly missing these meetings, the executives had undermined ANSU’s rules and collective unity.
