With deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences, we mourn the passing of Late Kigam Yassap of Saddle Village, Kamle District, Raga, Arunachal Pradesh.

She will always be remembered for her love, kindness, and the cherished memories she shared with family and friends. Though she has left this world, but her legacy will remain forever in our hearts.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength and comfort to the bereaved family during this time of grief.

RAGA – today kame district conclude 32nd Nyokum Yullo celebrations

The festival were graced by State BJP President Shri Kaling Moyong as Chief Guest, alongside Guest of Honour Miss Junty Singpho (State BJP General Secretary). The event also saw the esteemed presence of Shri Tadar Niglar (State General Secretary) and Special Guest Shri Ruma Mugli (Joint Director Accounts, Govt. of AP).

Pride of Kamle: Dr. Joyir Siram Murtem Awarded Ph.D. for Research on Digitization of Nyishi Language
Dr. Joyir Siram Murtem, daughter of Lt. Bijoy Siram and Smty. Azo Siram and wife of Shri Tana Murtem, senior Audit Officer, has been awarded a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering for her thesis titled "Part of Speech Tagging of Nyishi Language." She received the degree at the 12th Convocation of National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh on February 20, 2026.
Dr. Murtem studied at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Itanagar, completed her B.Tech from BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, Karnataka, and earned her M.Tech from Rajiv Gandhi University.
Her research contributes to developing and preserving the Nyishi language using computer technology. She is currently working as a Lecturer at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic.
Her achievement has brought pride to her family and the Kamle district and serves as an inspiration for young students.
