APPSC Announces 155 Group-A & Group-B Technical Posts; Applications Open From September 10
Itanagar, September 2: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced 155 vacancies under the Common Recruitment Examination for Group-A and Group-B, Gazetted (Technical) Posts-2026 (Part-I).
The recruitment drive, through Advertisement No. 04/2026 dated September 1, 2026, covers various technical posts across departments of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
Post-wise vacancies
* Veterinary Officer: 66 posts
* Horticulture Development Officer: 45 posts
* Agriculture Development Officer: 42 posts
* Assistant Director (Sericulture): 1 post
* Dairy Development Officer: 1 post
Total: 155 posts, including 6 posts reserved for PwBD candidates.
The posts carry Group-A Level 10 pay scales of ₹56,100–₹1,77,500 for Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer and Assistant Director (Sericulture), while the Dairy Development Officer post carries Group-B Level 6 pay scale of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400.
Mandatory eligibility criteria
According to the APPSC notification, applicants must be citizens of India, permanent residents of Arunachal Pradesh and holders of a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority.
Candidates must also possess an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate and meet the prescribed Indigenous Tribal Language Proficiency requirement, including the ability to speak an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh and working knowledge of local indigenous tribes.
Application dates
The online application window will open at 5:00 PM on September 10, 2026, and will remain open until 5:00 PM on September 30, 2026.
Candidates must first complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the APPSC website before submitting their application. Those already registered under OTR can directly log in using their existing credentials.
The Commission has advised candidates to submit only one application. In case multiple applications are submitted, only the application bearing the highest Registration ID (RID) will be considered.
