Guwahati, May 31st: The Grappling Association of Arunachal Pradesh (GAAP) delivered an impressive performance at the 19th GFI National Grappling Championship 2026, held in Guwahati from May 29 to May 31st.

A 25-member Arunachal team secured a total of 25 medals, including 13 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze, and finished as the Overall Runner-Up (2nd Position) in the championship.

GAAP President Loku Sono, General Secretary Adv. Goken Bam, and Coach Dari Lokam were present throughout the event, supporting and guiding the athletes during the competition.
