3 Big U.S. Immigration Updates You Should Know About 🇺🇸

If you’re planning to work, study, or travel to the United States, there have been three important policy shifts you shouldn’t miss:

1️⃣ End of Automatic Work Permit Extensions (from Oct 30, 2025)

USCIS will no longer automatically extend Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) when renewal applications are filed. Foreign workers must now wait for approval before continuing employment, making early renewal essential to avoid gaps.

2️⃣ Electronic Payment Options for USCIS Forms

Applicants can now pay filing fees electronically for certain forms using Form G-1450 (credit card payments) and Form G-1650 (ACH or debit payments). This step modernises USCIS’s payment system, reducing paperwork and speeding up application processing.

3️⃣ Expanded Biometric Entry and Exit Checks
