The Rajasthan High Court has held that a bank account cannot be subjected to an indefinite blanket debit freeze on the strength of a vague, unverified or cryptic communication from an investigating agency, ruling that wherever the disputed cyber-fraud amount is identifiable, the ordinary course must be to preserve that amount by a lien or hold rather than immobilise the entire account.

जयपुर: बार काउंसिल ऑफ राजस्थान (BCR) चुनाव के लिए पुनर्मतदान सोमवार को राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट जयपुर बेंच, जयपुर व जोधपुर सेशन कोर्ट और श्रीगंगानगर के रायसिंहनगर - इन चार केंद्रों पर कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच कराया गया। जयपुर बेंच पर 14,781 वकीलों के लिए 350 पुलिसकर्मी, 80 CCTV कैमरे और दो बूथ तैनात किए गए। 22 अप्रैल को हुई गड़बड़ी के बाद यह दोबारा मतदान कराया गया।

जोधपुर: राजस्थान HC ने बिना अनिवार्य 30-दिन नोटिस के रद्द की गई माइनिंग लीज बहाल की। जस्टिस संजीत पुरोहित ने राजसमंद के तखत सिंह की क्वार्ट्ज-फेल्सपार लीज पर फैसला सुनाते हुए कहा — राज्य ने आनुपातिकता जांचे बिना सीधे रद्द का फैसला लिया, जो MMCR 2017 के Rule 28(2)(xvii)(a) का उल्लंघन है। Amnesty Scheme में भुगतान के बावजूद लीज बहाल न करना अनुच्छेद 14 का हनन।

हिंदौन सिटी: ACB ने बारां जिले की नगर पालिका अंता के सहायक अभियंता महेंद्र सिंह से बयाना रोड पर सरप्राइज चेक में ₹3.70 लाख संदिग्ध नकदी बरामद की। खुफिया सूचना मिली थी कि वे अवैध धन लेकर अपने घर हिंदौन आ रहे हैं। नकदी का कोई संतोषजनक स्पष्टीकरण नहीं दे पाए। भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत जांच जारी।

जयपुर: ACB ने शुक्रवार रात चौमूं पुलिया पर PWD से जुड़े कंसल्टेंट याकूब को ₹33 लाख रिश्वत के साथ रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया। झुंझुनूं PWD XEN राकेश कुमार भी हिरासत में लिए गए। किसान की जमीन को हाईवे प्रोजेक्ट से बाहर करने के लिए कुल ₹70 लाख की रिश्वत मांगी गई थी, जिसकी पहली किस्त पकड़ी गई।
