"गौ-दान" - "Gau-Daan"
An evening in Kalpwasi camps at Mahakumbh where the ritual of Gau-Daan was being performed by a family living in Kalpwas.

Mostly the residents of Mithila region are living in this Kalpwasi camp near the sector 8 of Mahakumbh city. Mithila means few districts like Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Begusarai, Katihar, Saharsa etc.

Its been my 2nd visit when I also met with the Kalpwasis who were part of my documentary which was shot during the first visit of Mahakumbh when it started. By the time of this shoot, the Kalpwas of all the Kalpwasis was going to end.
