An electrifying and chilling video that has surfaced across the internet is now shedding new light on the incident.

While the controversy initially focused on the claim that a senior leader was beaten by hospital staff, the newly surfaced footage tells a very different story. The video captures the chain of events that led to the escalation and shows the leader in a visibly unstable state, appearing heavily intoxicated.

The narrative that the hospital tried to stop the leader from leaving the premises also seems to fall apart in the footage. In fact, it appears to be quite the opposite — the leader had already exited the premises but then reversed his car back toward the emergency gate and continued engaging with the staff.

At several moments, it even appears as though he was deliberately trying to provoke a confrontation and pull the hospital into some kind of controversy. Unfortunately, it seems that he ultimately succeeded.

The leader had earlier claimed that he was abused by hospital staff. However, the emergency camera footage — which also recorded audio — tells a very different story.

The footage clearly shows that the staff member remained polite throughout the incident. In fact, he did not even raise his voice, despite being slapped and shouted at by the senior leader. The leader can also be heard asking the staff member which village he was from, seemingly attempting to assert muscle and intimidate him.

The video further shows that the leader could barely balance himself and required constant support from the people accompanying him.

If the staff had truly abused him, one obvious question arises — why did none of the people accompanying the leader react at that moment?

Another claim made by the leader was that the hospital blocked his way and did not allow him to leave the premises. The CCTV footage again shows the opposite.

The leader actually exited the premises and then reversed his car back toward the hospital entrance. He stopped to argue with the staff member, who was repeatedly requesting him to leave the emergency area as he had already created significant disturbance.

The footage clearly captures him driving back and forth before reversing the car and bringing it back inside the hospital gate. When a patient attendant noticed the escalating situation and attempted to shut the gate, the leader rammed the car into it, nearly crushing the attendant’s legs.

When staff members rushed in to control the situation, it became evident that the leader had lost control of the vehicle. He appeared unable to reverse the car properly and seemed confused about the reverse and drive gears in the automatic vehicle.

By this time, tensions had escalated and people present at the scene, angered by the situation, tried to take control of the vehicle to prevent further harm.

The leader also alleged that the hospital refused to admit the patient under the Ayushman Bharat Mission, under which treatment could have been free. However, officials from the Department of Health, Government of Rajasthan clarified that the particular procedure in question is reserved for government hospitals and is not covered in private hospitals under the scheme.

Perhaps the most unfortunate aspect of this entire episode is that, despite these facts emerging, the hospital owner still had to publicly apologise to the community in order to de-escalate the situation, reopen the hospital gates, and allow the hospital to resume functioning and continue providing care to patients.

In the end, the question that remains is not just about what happened that night — but how easily narratives can be shaped, amplified, and believed before the full truth comes to light.
