We are proud to announce the Special Presentation for Cinema Cappuccino's next edition - "Kothanodi - The River of Fables" directed by Bhaskar Hazarika.

A National Award 2015 winner, this film reimagines Assamese folk tales pushing them into dark and unorthodox directions, infusing an eerie, fantastical but poetic mood into the characters, who are all women dealing with various aspects of motherhood.

"Kothanodi" received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike and played as Official Selection at international festivals like Busan South Korea, BFI London, MAMI Mumbai and IFFLA Los Angeles.
