Managerial Society NITJ organised “Be Inquisitive”, a quiz competition with 3 rounds and every round being a knock out. 20 teams of 3 showed up in the event from multiple disciples. The faculty coordinator for the same was Dr. Divya Mahajan. The first round had questions based upon Business logos and slogans.The second round was based on abbreviations and guessing the company hidden in videos. Three teams competed in the final which focussed on economic affairs in India.

Guru Nanak Jayanti is mainly associated with Sikhs community people. People celebrate this day with utmost joy all over the world. Not just Sikhs but even Hindus also celebrate this festival.
Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated yearly on the full moon date of Kartik month. The festival is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of the Guru Nanak Dev. The festival is also known as Guru Purab or Prakash Parv.
Guru Nanak Dev was born on the day of Kartik Purnima. That is why on this day various programs along with kirtan are organized in every corner of the country and abroad.
As per religious sources, it is believed that Guru Nanak is the first Guru of Sikhism. Guru Nanak Dev was born at Talwandi Nankana Sahib. That is why he is addressed by the name of Nanak. It is believed that Guru Nanak Dev laid the foundation of Sikh society, which is why he is called the founder. The festival is to honor his life, achievements, and, most importantly, legacy. Hence his hymns are read aloud and appreciated.

Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrations usually go on for three days, two days before the prayer, and Akhand Path, a continuous reading, of the Guru Granth Sahib is conducted at Gurudwaras.

Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava or Sharadotsava, is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess Durga and is also celebrated because of Durga's victory over Mahishasur. It is particularly popular and traditionally celebrated in the Indian states of West Bengal ,Bihar,Assam,Odisha,Tripura, and the country of Bangladesh.The festival is observed in the Indian calendar month of Ashwin, which corresponds to September–October in the Gregorian calendar.
As per Hindu Scriptures, the festival marks the victory of goddess Durga in her battle against the shape-shifting asura,Mahishasur. Thus, the festival epitomizes the victory of good over evil, though it is also in part a harvest festival celebrating the goddess as the motherly power behind all of life and creation. Durga puja coincides with Navratri and Dussehra.

Inter-year Futsal tournament ⚽️was organised by NITJ Football Club where more than 35 teams registered. The tournament was held from 20th to 22nd September. All the teams displayed their skills and talent to win the title of NITJ Futsal Champion.
This year marked the first time when the girls team played in Futsal tournament in NITJ 🤩. Futsal final (girls) was played between Team Athletics and The Musketeers. Both the teams played their best game. The environment was boosted by the overwhelming support and response from the audience for the finals. Divya from Team Athletics scored an amazing goal 🤩by a free kick and this turned out to be the deciding goal for the game with the final score being 1:0 in favour of team Athletics🥇.
The final match (boys)🏆 was played between Team 2nd year and Goal Diggers of NITJ FC. The match started with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. Goal Diggers of NITJ captain Devesh scored the first goal by a rocket 🚀 strike straight into the net, which was quickly balanced by the opponent team with a beautiful pass along and an amazing header finish by Piyush. The first half ended with a score of 1:1 which made the audience go crazy with excitement for the second half. Both the teams tried their best but it was Goal Diggers who scored the 2nd goal by a lovely strike from Varun which was the final goal of the tournament and confirmed the win of Goal Diggers of Nitj with the final score as 2:1.

All the teams played their best and displayed true sportsmanship.

On the occasion of Engineer's Day 15th September, 2022 ,Online Quiz, Logo Designing & Poster Presentation Competition were conducted by TTA, IIC and TBI. Students displayed their skills through various logos & posters with zeal and enthusiasm. NITJ Director Binod Kumar Kanaujia and many other professors witnessed the event & interacted with the students.
"STAND UP INDIA, STARTUP INDIA" event was conducted by Institute Innovation Council(IIC), TBI and TTA on 16 September 2022.
Guest speaker, Mr. John Kuruvilla, Chief mentor of Brigade REAP & founder of Kalpanik technologies Pvt. Ltd. shared the struggles in his personal & professional life along with the challenges faced by Air Deccan- a regional Airline & also his tactics through which he generated wealth. His determination is motivating many students who have great startup ideas.
He motivated the audience to stop leading boring lives and always try something new and challenge everything.
Later IIC President Dr. Arun Khosla felicitated Mr. John Kuruvilla and Mr. Akshay Uppal.
Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted by TTA for the competitions conducted on 15th September,2022.
Chandra Kishore Mandal (IPE), Preetpal Singh (BT) 2nd year were the winners of Logo Designing Competition in which 50 students took part. The logo of winning team was declared as the official logo for Team Technical Affairs.
Prizes were also given to the Online Quiz Competition winners in which 500 students participated & to the Poster Presentation Competition winners in which 29 students participated. The guests appreciated the members of TTA for making the competitions a huge success.
Later Mr. Akshay Uppal - Director of Sarvashagun Infra pvt. lmt.& Founder and CEO of Pykke Pavement solutions, demonstrated how the Pothole Brigade works and encouraged students to brainstorm for the the Mini Truck Design competition for making it compact and adding new features to it where students can get the chance to win cash prizes worth ₹21000.
Media-cell NITJ congratulates all the winners and appreciates the efforts of all the participants.

After our parents, it is the teacher who inculcates good values and wisdom into our lives. They play a very important role in every student's life. Words are not enough to express our gratitude to our teachers, therefore we dedicate 5th of September to all our beloved teachers who have taught us something about life and helped us to become a better individuals. After finishing our high school and college, we tend to somehow forget our revered teachers who have been the building blocks of where we are today. So on this day, let us remember all our mentors and teachers and send them a gratitude message for playing such an important role in our lives.
