According to Pyramid e-Institute HR Sanjeev Mehra, the institute faced a large gathering at its Jalandhar office following an incident involving a girl who had reportedly approached the institute for visa consultancy services. Mehra says the applicant had earlier been advised to withdraw her application due to budget constraints, and the consultancy fee was allegedly refunded. He further claims that around 150–200 people later entered the premises, with staff members being confronted and some individuals allegedly attempting to take employees outside. Mehra also alleges that certain individuals identified themselves as being associated with the media before an alleged physical confrontation involving him and other team members.

Jalandhar’s 20-year-old Government Primary School at Kot Amin Khan, located near Panj Peer Chowk, raises serious questions about basic facilities and learning conditions for young children.
The school is reportedly operating from a shop-like building spread across just around 50 square yards, with the classrooms located on the second floor. A room meant to function as a smart classroom has reportedly turned into a storage room, packed with heavy iron trunks, wooden cupboards, mattresses, blue drums, gas utensils and brooms.

Due to the severe space constraints, Nursery, Class 1 and Class 2 students are reportedly made to sit together in a combined classroom. The school has around 35 students but only two teachers, adding to the concerns over classroom management and individual attention.
The ground floor is being used as a godown and slipper store, while children as young as 3–4 years old have to climb narrow stairs carrying their school bags to reach their classrooms on the second floor.
Safety arrangements on the staircase also appear limited, with a wooden door and wooden planks being used at some places.
The condition of this 20-year-old school raises an important question: Are these facilities adequate for young children who are expected to learn in a safe and proper school environment?

AAP Punjab president and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora has alleged that the BJP-led Central government is using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to defame Punjab and the state government in the 66-2 case.
Arora said Punjab Police has made a written request to the ED to provide evidence related to the case and according to him, the agency has not provided the necessary evidence required for the investigation or any electronic data.
He claimed that the lack of evidence shows that the case is part of a conspiracy to defame Punjab and the state government, Arora also referred to a statement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he was Gujarat Chief Minister, in which Modi had criticised the functioning of central agencies.
The AAP Punjab president’s remarks come amid an ongoing exchange between the ED and Punjab Police over the registration of an FIR in the alleged money-laundering case.
