Jammu to Host Grand Tawi Aarti on 11 June 2025
Jammu, 7 June 2025:
The Shri Raghunath Ji Corridor Development Council will organize a grand Jammu Tawi Aarti on 11 June 2025 at the newly constructed Tawi River Front, developed by Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL). The event aims to promote Sanatan values, spiritual tourism, and the cultural heritage of the region.
Chairman Rajesh Gupta announced that a Havan Yagya will be held at 9:00 AM, followed by Purna Ahuti, Langar Prasad, and Pratham Pujan. The Aarti, coinciding with Jyeshtha Purnima, is also a symbolic start to the Shri Amarnath Ji and Buda Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025. A regular Maha Aarti schedule will be launched from 2 July 2025, with transportation support for pilgrims from Amarnath Yatri Niwas.
Vice President Sh. Baldev Khullar emphasized the Aarti’s spiritual importance, while General Secretary Sh. Rajesh Dewan highlighted its role in reviving traditional values and supporting local businesses.
The Council reiterated its commitment to enhancing Jammu’s religious tourism and making it a prominent pilgrimage hub.
Key members present included Rajesh Gupta, Baldev Khullar, Rajesh Dewan, Jitendra Gupta, Anoop Jain, Vijay Gupta, and executive members.
The event is open to all and aims to unite community, tradition, and tourism under one spiritual experience.
