Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Tuesday said that the entire administrative machinery across the Kashmir Valley has been placed on high alert in view of the prevailing weather conditions, with all control rooms functioning round the clock to monitor the situation and ensure prompt response to any emergency.

All departments has been directed to remain vigilant and fully prepared to tackle any weather-related eventuality. He added that district administrations, emergency services, disaster management teams and other concerned agencies have been instructed to maintain close coordination to safeguard public life and property.
