Apni Party Holds Grand Workers’ Convention in Budgam
Senior Leaders Reaffirm Commitment to Public Welfare, Restoration of Statehood
Budgam, July 17, 2025:
The Apni Party today organized a significant One-Day Workers’ Convention at Budgam, drawing a large number of party workers and supporters. The convention aimed to boost grassroots mobilization and reaffirm the party’s vision for peace, development, and dignity in Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing the gathering, Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir underscored the importance of engaging with the people at the ground level. He said, “The Apni Party stands firmly for the restoration of statehood, safeguarding the rights of the people, and building a peaceful and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir.”
Vice President Javid Mustafa Mir lauded the dedication of party workers and called for strengthening the organizational network across the region. “We need to continue reaching every household with a message of hope, development, and unity,” he stated.
General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir emphasized youth engagement and political awareness. He said, “We are committed to providing platforms for the youth of J&K to raise their voice and shape the future of this region through democratic participation.”
Chief Spokesperson Mohiuddin Muntazir addressed the convention with a focus on transparency, truth, and public outreach. “Our narrative is based on facts and public interest. We are not here for politics of deception, but for genuine public service,” he said.
Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir and State Youth President Yawar Mir also delivered impactful speeches, urging party workers to stay active, honest, and closely connected with the people. They appreciated the post-election resilience of the cadre and encouraged continued grassroots momentum.
The leadership collectively reaffirmed the Apni Party’s core demands, including the restoration of J&K’s statehood, employment opportunities for youth, and an accountable governance model. The convention concluded on a note of unity and commitment to the people’s cause.
